This is my first drone. It is very easy to fly and has a great camera and awesome range.

After an initial run in with a non charging battery, I was able to get in the air with this drone, and since the price was higher that I wanted to spend, I took the time to learn the ropes, before venturing out. I have put in 30 flights, and the videos I am getting keep getting better. The software has so many options that it will take time to utilize the drone to maximum capability. Range is impressive, and the video is so clear on a large screen TV, that you'd think it was taken from a helicopter.

We needed a good quality drone in our photography company in order to expand and reach for the tougher shots. Almost from the start, everyone understands the DJI controls easily, and the camera isn't bad. It's good enough to work with. I think we've done 50 flights ranging from Denver sky scrapers to Alaskan lodges, and I know that I'm now a dedicated DJI fan. I love their products.

Flew unit three times...as a novice user it was easy to set up and operate...however, I have a continuing 'gimbal overload' message I cannot resolve and a more recent 'data error' that prevents my unit from flying and says I should contact a technician. I bought a drone to fly, not to pursue technical corrections. I was able to fly three times with the gimbal overload condition, but now the unit will not fly unless I can correct the 'data error' condition. Seriously thinking about a return trip to Best Buy to return for credit and look at other, more reliable drones.

The P4A performs very well. I am only a novice pilot, but I have already begun to enjoy some of the more advanced features. The camera takes some amazing stills and the video is very smooth and crisp. When using the intelligent flight mode, you can focus on setting up the perfect shot or video. This is my first Phantom, so there may be some shortcomings that I am not aware of, but so far, this has been a terrific investment.

I got my drone and bought an extra battery. Pretty easy to set up. You have to go online to find out how to set it up. The online videos are not the best because they didn't seem to be in any logical order. I ended up watching individual's YouTube videos and to get better information. During setup I tried to charge the battery that came with the drone. It was completely dead and would not take a charge. I tried every trouble shooting procedure and it was just plain old dead. The spare battery worked and charged just fine. I took the entire drone back to Best Buy. I spoke with the Best Buy manager. He got me a new battery instead of replacing the whole drone. The replacement battery worked good. I was pretty ticked that I spent $1100 on a drone with a non-working battery. I charged the new battery and took it for a test run. The drone is very easy to operate! I use my Ipad as the monitor which gives a good field of view. The quality of video is amazing and the video looks like something from a movie. Overall, I am satisfied with the drone. I checked out different brands and this one seemed to be the best one out there. The most common issues I saw in all the reviews were dead batteries, poor instructions and horrible customer service. Thank goodness I did not need to get in touch with customer service, otherwise the 4 stars I gave may be lower, Would I buy this drone again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, but I would tell them to test it good before the 15-day return policy is up. My other recommendation would be to DJI and tell them to get better customer service and build a better battery. Come on DJI, people are paying $1k + and you can't build a stable battery?

Awesome product, thank goodness I did my homework prior to going, the sales staff and “drone specialist” was clueless and useless. First one came with a dead battery, had a hard time with the exchange, but finally got one which works and love it. Can go stilling over my neighborhood over 2000 feet away (400ft high) it’s simply great.

This drone is a breeze to fly! The camera is very good, I would say it is almost professional quality. I was very surprised by how well it took pictures at night. The only downfall of this drone is that it is not the pro, being The advanced version you only get directional sensors in the front and not in the back. Also the controller is only 2.4ghz whereas the pro is able to use 2.4 or 5ghz. I highly recommend getting the plus version’s that come with the super bright DJI screen on the controller. Mobile devices will work OK but if you spend a little more you will not be disappointed and have to search for shade and hide from the sun while you fly your drone .

This drone, or sUAS, is a great purchase for anyone that wants to buy one drone that will last. The technology is so advanced that it can literally fly itself. The drone coupled with the free app, DJIgo4 makes this drone so easy to operate. The 20 megapixel camera shoots crystal clear photos and videos. It can also be used with other apps if you plan to use it for surveying or mapping, like Pix4D. When take your thumbs off the sticks the drone will brake, come to a stop and hover in place. It will even compensate for winds. This is, of course, when it's in GPS mode. If you are experienced and want to fly a little more aggressively you can put it into sport mode with a flip of a switch on the controller. The controller and app are a great combination allowing the pilot to have full control of the drone with the security. I can say the crash avoidance sensors work at slow speed, but I don't have the guts to fly at a wall at full speed to test that. In summary, its worth the one time investment.

We have flown it numerous times to 2 miles away with no problems it takes awesome pictures and video very user-friendly easy to say flies up to 30 minutes even worse good and fairly strong wind would recommend it to any beginner or someone at his phone a lot

Easy flying. Great camera. Until you can afford an Inspire 2 it doesn't get much better than this, except for the Pro which is more expensive, but the extra features really don't justify the price.

This thing does everything you could want or possibly need.The Pro just isn't worth the extra money in my opinion. You should be absolutely satisfied with this. DJI does it again.

Lots of cool features make this a good choice for beginners looking to get a little more serious. The automated flight systems are helpful, and the new camera allows some awesome shots. Just be aware you have to supply your own screen (phone or tablet) to use this kit. Flight times are pretty good, but less than advertised.

This is an amazing drone. Very happy with my purchase and why not Best Buy when it’s the sims price and you get points.

This drone is very stable, has great range, excellent photos and videos, and in sport mode it is fast!

I could not be more pleased with this Drone. DJI puts out a great product. The drone is easy to set up, and very easy to use. there is a flight sim mode for you to get used to the sticks, and a beginner mode for beginner flyers. The camera is crisp and the video is amazing! I will continue to purchase DJI drones exclusively, and will continue to rely on Bestbuy to help me with my purchases.

Right away I had it out of the box, flying, taking photos and video. Easy to control, little learning curve. Amazing and fun

Love this drone. This is my third drone and it is my favorite drone. The image quality and battery life are fantastic!
