Ok, the game has it's flaws like any other game, it can become a little repetitive sometimes (you take a break!) but overall it's an excellent game made for the true DBZ fans out there, after playing the STORM games I've always wanted CC2 to make a DBZ game and finally they did it! And it is great for me. Excellent story telling, good environments and easter eggs for the fans, excellent graphics, excellent soundtrack and the encyclopedia oh the encyclopedia... it's excellent. The figure it's great too good size and quality, you can even place small figures on top of if if you want. If you're a DBZ fan definitely should get this game!

Bought this for my nephew. It feels like you are watching the anime but you apart of it. The visuals are awesome and fighting mechanics are good. It does have some repetitive small battles but the overall stories are ones that DBZ fans are familiar with and will enjoy. I give this a 4/5 rating.

Good game if you're a DBZ fan, rehashes the stories after Dragon Ball. The statue is good quality, steel book is nice, & the art book is cool.

I love Dragon Ball Z, but this game doesn’t remind me why I love the series. It’s fun for the most, but it’s not as fun as it could’ve been. Exploration can be a bit boring, load times are long, some mechanics are forgotten about. The fights can be quick and boss battles can be a pain. The collectors edition is very overpriced. The diorama was gorgeous, but at $200? No. Doom Eternal has a collectors edition for that price and it came with a season pass and a wearable helmet. Plus Doom Eternal is an amazing game to boot

The overall Collectors Edition was a nice buy. I love the Steelbook, and the Artbook was really nice, and the diorama statue was good quality. The game itself however, it's good but it definitely has flaws that keeps it from being great. The sidequests are a bit repetitive. And the translation is iffy in spots. But the main story is a good playthrough especially if you're a DBZ fan.

In a time where anime games are becoming more and more mediocre in their overall presentation, and Dragon Ball games becoming repeat experience of each other. However, Dragon Ball Z kakarot is a perfect example of changing the formula of a 30 year series. Its essentially the same Dragon Ball story we all know in live from nostalgia but the presentation in its combat and game mechanic makes the experience of relieving that story enjoyable. As I play the game, the thought of "this feels like dragon Ball" courses through me. Though its a 3D fighter, it utilizes RPG elements that makes it feel different than the traditional 3D fighterz DB game like xenoverse, sagas, battle of Z, etc. The way the story is flesh out and the sub quests are fun to watch and complete. It has a learning curve to fights and not just spam square and ki blast. Overall the game its great , as an anime game its one of the best one for the PS4 library and a strong contender for best anime game jrpg for 2020.

I had a sweet deal of 20% off since I still had my GCU active and got $10 gift card for pre-ordering the collectors edition. This game helps us relive the glorious dragon ball z series and the nostalgia value is priceless. Getting the statue with the game is an awesome extra and I love the statue that comes with the collectors edition. Only draw back is it doesn't come with season pass but compared to other country variant it comes with less price excluding the season pass.

Starts slow but once you get to fight vegeta and kappa grows into a nice rpg. One thing about you have to understand the menus and rpg system and how it relates to gameplay. Which lacks instructions to how things connect to each other. Once you understand the grand scheme of it. This game is solid fun and entertainment for the DBZ fan. Best story line recreation in any DBZ game ever.

It is nice to see the DBZ story told this intricately. It sort of reminds me of the first Dragon Ball Z Budokai but with more cut scenes and RPG mechanics. The biggest negative of this game is some of the story inaccuracies, the sloppy voice acting and the sloppy writing. Dialogue in this game can feel really off.

I'm loving this gaming experience! Not too fond of the side missions but the main story and retelling of the sagas is well worth it! I haven't been this excited about a Dragon Ball Z game since Budokai 2.

This new Dragon Ball Z game is true to the anime. It’s got amazing graphics that look exactly like the show. It’s got free roam, fighting and rpg. It reminds me of the Budokai series. 5 stars from me!!

This edition provides a lot of things all in one set. The statue was incredible, not many statues come as detailed as this. Some of the other items that came along were nice to have souvenirs but definitely not as worth while. For the price, it would have been great to include a season pass for any other later game add ons. Overall, the statue was well worth it and the game is great for play.

I'm a huge DBZ fan and so I really enjoyed this game. I've been waiting for another DBZ RPG since the ones on the GBA and I'm very happy with this game. The collector's edition is good but couldn't been better/cheaper. I wish it came with the Season Pass considering this is priced at $200.

wanted an experience like this since Legacy of Goku 1 and 2 on the Game boy advance.. it is fun and exploration and combat mix well in this. I cannot wait to see what they do on nextgen with this games formula. For DB Super and other anime.

Great story as expected, though the gameplay can be a bit tough if you don't get it. It is easy enough to learn with practice but that doesn't mean frustration is not going to be present. Still one of my favorite games hands down.
