The DroneMobile XP1 Expansion Hub (XP1-PIOC, short for Programmable Input/Output Controller) delivers maximum vehicle customization for your DroneMobile system. With the DroneMobile App, set up commands for each programmable output, as well as push notifications and alerts for each programmable input. Using the app, you can set each of the five programmable ports to function as one of the following: a (-) normally open trigger input, a (-) normally closed trigger input, a (+) normally open trigger input, a (+) normally closed trigger input, or a ~250mA output. Outputs can be pulsed or latched. The XP1 works like a swiss-army knife that connects any vehicle component to your smartphone through the DroneMobile App. Specifications: up to 5 programmable inputs/outputs; 1.4mA current consumption in standby mode; ~250mA output current; (-) input mode triggers ON below 3.8V and OFF above 5.7V; (+) input mode triggers ON above 5.8V and OFF below 3.7V. Requirements: the XP1 requires a Drone X2MAX-LTE telematics module (hardwired or installed via OBD-II), which is not included. Connect the XP1 using the 4-pin data cable included with your Drone LTE module. In the box: XP1 expansion module for DroneMobile, 6-pin wiring harness, and a 4-pin UART adapter for future applications (not required).
