What does the yellow light mean grounded?My dynex 6 outlet surge protector shows green meaning surge is on but the other light is yellow. Does that mean the ground is faulted or is it suppose to be yellow?
Answered by DynexCustomerSupportIn models with a “grounded” light, the light should be on when the power switch is turned on. If the light does not come on when you turn on the surge protector, you have a ground wiring problem. With the yellow light activating, the unit is functioning.
Why is the blue power switch light not turing on?both the ground light and protected light are on when i plug in the surge protector, but the power switch light is not on. shouldn't the power light be on?
Answered by ghghghno.. there is no light on th epower switch. you will only see green and yellow.
i purchased a dynex models114201bI plugged it in and to my lap top. The yellow light that in on shows grounded, the other light for protected in not on. To me it seems it is not protecting my laptop. How can I fix this ?
Answered by guyamonghumansThat means the outlet it is plugged into has a ground fault. Try plugging it into another outlet.
