This paper thing is nice. I never gave it a thought before because the way it looks. Just bought it because it was on sale and the cheapest that time. I’m so glad I did because I’ve never gotten my local channel WFAA channel 8 in Dallas with any antenna. This is the only antenna that can get that channel. Love it and lays flat on the wall. Best Buy you are the best. FOREVER CUSTOMER.

This antenna lies on a speaker at desk height next to a window and pulls in about 70 stations in Tampa FL. Lots of them are sub-stations but it works really great. It's connected to an LG HD tv. I didn't even bother to attach it to the wall and it works fine just lying horizontally next to the window. I was surprised at how it was working so well. I got it on sale for $12.99 on a Deal of the Day.

Don’t expect 300 over the air channels unless you live smack dab in the middle of transmitter row but it’s very good and picks up many many channels. Remember most of the antenna channels are pos foreign channels but it delivered all my worthwhile channels and then some. Check to see how far away you are from your main antenna cluster. If greater than 30 miles you channel count will be less. The further away the fewer the channels. Not to mention signal strength will lessen and quality. If 30 miles or less, which I am, I get awesome pic and sound and many reliable strength channels. Just delete the crap channels.

The Dynex Long-Range Paper Thin HDTV Antenna is by far the best OTA antenna I've used so far. Just screw it into the coaxial input on the back or side of your HDTV, place the antenna either vertical, horizontal, or tape it up against a wall, and voila, you'll be able to catch a good amount of OTA free channels depending on where you live. I really liked that the cord that connects to your TV is quite soft and flexible. Some other brands have stiff and rigid cables so it's not as aesthetically pleasing.

Excellent product when used and positioned correctly. You could have problems if you just attach to the back of tv or window. 1) Height: I installed in attic of our one story house, and ran a coax cable (through a closet and the wall of the family room) to the TV. Excellent performance. 2) Also, find out where most of the TV station antennas are in your area and face the antenna in that direction.

Was skeptical as had never seen one. Easy to install, screw it onto the back of T V set to standard coaxial connection. No electrical involved with antenna. Turned on T V set, got crystal clear reception. Live fifteen miles south of downtown Denver. Installed in bedroom in corner behind T V set with dark curtains closed. Do not have to attach it to window. Tried it on three other T V sets [two in basement] Don't know how many more miles it will reach, but this one is surprisingly strong. Will buy three more.

Easy install. I live within 10 miles of most Detroit Antennae. Also I live on a second story apartment and have them attached to windows facing the broadcast stations. Get lots of network channels..in clear HD. Weather does play a factor.got them on deal of the day for less then $10 delivered each..now if they could come up with a way to get free WiFi...

does as advertised. I have it connected to a tv in our patio so while outside, it does have 2 walls challenging it. We got our locals and was really all we wanted. Everything else is streamed so works for us in our current location

I bought this on sale and it works just fine on my tv. Great HD picture on stations that offer it and I pick up about 34 in all. Not all are in hd but I don't have to pay for cable, I live about 20 miles from town.

I got this antenna as an update. I was able to get a few more channels and the picture came in sharper. The only problem I’m having is with the adhesive tabs. I added a few more to stick to the wall better. The coaxial cord could also be a little longer.

I've tried a few different HDTV antennae and this one works about as well as any, though I find I still need an amplifier to get more than a very few local channels. Still, a very good item to have for cable-cutters and to get news when cable or internet is down.

It's good, but I feel the cord could have been longer to get all the channels that were scanned, but it's good for the one's I do get.

This antenna was easy to setup and picks up about 12 local channels in my area (Texas). The double sided mounting tape did not stick to well to drywall so I used command strips to place behind tv. Even during thunderstorms, the antenna provides good signal. Very good for the price and I do recommend.

Did not want a “bunny ear” antenna or anything bulky because our tv stand is small and would not have space for it. This tho? Wow! Truly is paper thin. Works well with our smart tv, great clarity. Super easy plug n’ play. I’m able to get a bunch of channels just leaving it behind the tv on the shelf. When I post it up high I get even more. Got it on sale for $12 so really hard for me to find a fault. Perfect!

I only spent 10$ and for that price this antenna was totally worth it. You’re supposed to mount it toward the ceiling on the wall and I just draped it behind my TV stand. Because of this the connection isn’t always the best but I still get at least 15 channels in Washington state.

I purchased 2 of these. So far I have had no trouble with this device. I get great signal for what I need and these are very thin. They fit perfectly behind my TVs. The only complaint is that the adhesives tend to wear off. Not a big deal for me but it is a slight inconvenience with an easy fix.

New apt has great views but terrible basic TV reception. I don't have cable. This antenna from Deal of the Day is improvement for a 12 yr old Sylvania in the kitchen tho I still have to move it around. If you watch lots of TV, your setup is likely much better than mine.

Takes some adjustment - I assume it is based on your location, and the units location in the house ... for the money you get dump the cable box for the locals.

Hi! as you mentioned, your location and were you place the antenna have a lot to do when it comes to getting a food signal. In this case, I am glad to read that it worked well for you since this can be a great option for entertainment.

For the price, this does what I need it to do. Like any other antenna, its ability to receive channels is position-dependent. Position it in different directions and re-scan after each time to get a baseline of the best position. With a little extra time up front, you can get maximize the reception in your local area. Keep in mind this is also dependent on your physical proximity to stations.

This antenna just reassured me I made the right decision by cutting my cable and satellite services. It's range is great and I am picking up about 25 channels in clear HD! BYE BYE monthly cable bill!
