The washable post-motor filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns – as small as bacteria. Ball Animal 3 has an updated Motorbar cleaner head with built-in de-tangling vanes that prevent pet or human hair from getting wrapped around the machine's brush bar. There is also a suction slider on the front of the head that makes slight adjustments for varying floor types. if you have thicker carpeting in the home or pets, you may prefer the Ball Animal 3.
