Does everything just as described, big decision with this and cordless but went with small ball for more reliability in the long run because of batteries in cordless

This was the first "good" vacuum I've bought and spent "good" money on. It was worth it. I've had the vacuum 6 years and never had a problem with it. It's pretty easy to keep clean; very easy to empty. This is from someone with fairly severe arthritis in her hands. It's also fairly lightweight. I'm replacing it with the new V8 Stick - and not b/c I needed to - because I wanted to.

I bought this vacuum 1 month ago. So far, Small Ball is great: lightweight, compact, easy on the eyes. It makes vacuuming large areas a breeze and is really easy to maneuver in smaller spaces. It picked up all the dust, dirt, and hair off the carpet and porcelain floor so easily. I like the dummy proof setup with mainly pictures to help you. My only drawback is that the quick release for disposal is not so quick. The multiple cyclones at the top of the vacuum form a tight space between the container itself so it's pretty hard to get ALL the dirt out without a contraption (I used a bamboo skewer). Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

For a small vacuum this Dyson model still has excellent suction power. We had the same size model but 7 Year’s older version and it still functions well, even after having a dog. Also a e have a lot of stairs in our house and this is the easiest to carry. It even sits on each step without tilting over and falling down a flight. Perfect for every home.

A must have. The best vacuum. Easy to use, light, super suction. It moves through the corners with ease. Easy on the back because it just rolls over the floor. Great for both the thick carpet and just the floor. Has the hose and the accessories withi it for the tight spots

I have a full size dyson vac but wanted to stop having to drag it up and down the stairs. This vac is lightweight which is good on one hand, but also doesn't have the weight to hold its self up while you propel it. What that means is you will be pushing this vac harder to move it over a carpet. It does have smaller head which gets into tighter spots than a fullsize vac. It works great and easy to push/maneuver on hardwood floors; works really great across my oriental carpets; works ok on my regular carpets. Other pluses: Long cord Other minuses: the beater brush seems to be made of very soft eyelash like bristles. THis works good on hardwood but I wonder how much "beating" its doing on the carpets. I suppose it won't be wearing out the carpets. You have to flip the wand around to use the suction tube for dusting the ceiling---a bit awkward. So if you have a big house---this is going to be too light duty for you---get a full size Dyson vac. For an apartment with hardwood floors with a few big room rugs this would be ideal.

I wanted to replace a canister vacuum that I had originally purchased because I (mistakenly) believed that it would be easier to manage on stairs. I was considering a cordless Dyson when I saw the Small Ball online. I couldn't be more pleased with it. The power cord is long enough to get the cleaner to the bottom of the stairs and the machine itself is small and light enough to either carry on the stairs or perch on a stair. It stores easily - its small size nestles in the corner of a closet. Perhaps best of all is the incredible suction. The carpets look much cleaner. The one difficulty is that the strength of the suction means that I need to work a bit harder pushing the cleaner when vacuuming my new, thicker carpet.

This is an effective lightweight vacuum that works well on hardwood floors. The suction is a bit strong on rugs! The low profile is great for getting under the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms.

This tiny thing has a lot of suction, but you do have to use some muscle to push it across your carpet. I also like that it is very small and takes up half the space my old vacuum did, while cleaning a lot better. I've only had it a couple of months, but it has sucked more dirt and dust up than my old one did in a year.

The Dyson Small Ball Vacuum, isn't small in any of the ways it cleans! Does a fantastic job. I love that it is so light and easy to handle. And the easy empty bag-less style is perfect. Also loved working with Best Buy who always make sure to match the lowest price!

I have appreciated the powerful suction of this unit; its light weight; its multi uses; the ease with which one gets rid of the waste material. I was not sure I would like this vaccum cleaner, but have found it to be extremely satisfactory.

It's great for my townhouse. Easy to carry up and down stairs. I like the stair cleaning attachment. Has a long cord so I don't have to unplug and plug in often as I move from room to room. Emptying the dirt canister is easy.
