The EVMI1530X G4 Rack PDU is ideal for streamlining PDU procurement and deployment within a 42U rack in an enterprise data center, colocation data center or distributed IT infrastructure. Equipped to meet even the most diverse data center rack power needs, the EVMI1530X delivers versatile, enterprise-quality power distribution.
Chain-of-trust encryption and secure firmware boot capability prevent the EVMI1530X PDU from being a cyberattack vulnerability point on a network. An embedded, hot-swappable gigabit network module (GNM) offers enhanced management and cybersecurity, including zero-trust architecture and zero-touch provisioning. The EVMI1530X is compatible with select Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite software solutions that enable extensive automation
The GNM with multi-color screen supports performance management software for real-time reports, trend charts, dashboards and alerts that are prioritized by severity, as well as remote troubleshooting and automated responses during power events. The EVMI1530X is compatible with optional environmental sensors (sold separately) that provide alerts about temperature, humidity and dry-contact device connections.
The EVMI1530X features 24 C13 outlets, which accept C14 connectors, and 18 high-retention C39 combo outlets, which accept both C14 and C20 connectors, adding flexibility to deployments and reducing the quantity of PDUs you will need to purchase and install. The outlets are evenly distributed into six color-coded load banks to improve load balancing and organize connections in a crowded rack.
This EVMI1530X PDU features toolless mounting buttons that allow front- or side-facing rack installation, depending on your rack's layout and your power needs. The 10-foot power cord with L15-30 input connects to a compatible AC source. Low-profile circuit breakers are flush with the lightweight aluminum chassis, and the narrow two-inch width saves space within the rack for revenue-generating equipment. You can cascade up to 40
