EAZ LIFT - Camco Eaz-Lift ReCurve R3 800Lb Weight Distribution Hitch, Sway Control, 48782 - Black

The Camco Eaz-Lift ReCurve R3 Weight Distribution Hitch is built to give RVers and travel trailer owners a safer, smoother, and more controlled towing experience. Engineered with best-in-class stability features, this hitch keeps your towing setup properly leveled and balanced, improving steering, braking, and overall confidence on the road. With a 1,000-pound maximum tongue weight and a 10,000-pound maximum gross trailer weight rating, it delivers reliable support for a wide range of camper and trailer sizes. The included heavy-duty 2-5/16-inch hitch ball comes pre-installed and carries a 15,000-pound rating for strong and secure performance.A key advantage of the ReCurve R3 is its adjustable sway control system. With a simple turn of the clamp bolt, you can fine-tune sway resistance to match road conditions and trailer behavior. The sway control feature can even be turned off entirely when reversing or navigating icy, wet, or hazardous paths. Once the trailer moves beyond a few degrees, the sway control automatically re-engages, maintaining stability without extra steps. The hitch’s patented top-loading spring bars make installation faster and easier, reducing physical effort and eliminating the need for greasy components. This design also provides better ground clearance compared to traditional bottom-loading bars. Built from high-carbon steel, the ReCurve R3 resists metal-on-metal wear and integrates brake-pad material that improves longevity while creating a quieter towing experience. With smooth rotation around the hitch ball, it allows the tow vehicle and trailer to move as one, minimizing noise and stress on components. Whether you’re heading out for weekend camping or hauling a travel trailer across long distances, the Eaz-Lift ReCurve R3 provides the quiet operation, stability, and durability needed for dependable towing on every trip.
