The Echo Dot Kids is designed as an entry-level smart speaker with parental controls and kid-friendly content, but Amazon offers a full spectrum of Echo and Alexa-enabled devices that work together to create a complete smart home experience. You might consider expanding to devices like the Echo Show for video calling and visual content, the Echo Hub for smart home control, or pairing multiple Echo devices throughout your home for whole-home audio and communication. These devices work seamlessly together, allowing you to drop in between rooms, create speaker groups, and control smart home devices from any location.

The device is intended to be used for kids content specifically and can be adjusted via the Alexa smartphone app and Parent Dashboard. Some things about this device are as follows: Kids can ask Alexa to play music, read a bedtime story, get help with their homework, and more. Stream songs from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and others. INCLUDES 1 YEAR OF AMAZON KIDS+ – A digital subscription designed for kids aged 3-12 to safely learn, grow, and explore. On Echo Dot, kids can enjoy kid-friendly Audible books, interactive games, and educational Alexa skills. Alexa will automatically give kid-friendly responses and filter explicit songs. You can also set daily time limits and review activity in the Amazon Parent Dashboard. Kids can help take charge of their routines with Alexa by setting their own alarms or turning off compatible smart lights. Use the Hey Disney! voice assistant to get the weather with Mickey, set a reading timer with Dory or Olaf, and more. Kids can also customize the way their Alexa sounds with a pretend owl or dragon voice, along with character-inspired songs, jokes, and greetings included with the 1 year of Amazon Kids+. 2-YEAR WORRY-FREE GUARANTEE – If it breaks, return it and we’ll replace it for free.
