The quality of the ink is fine. This review doesn't so much pertain to the product as it does to the availability of individual colored inks. What I didn't realize when I bought the printer is that when I run out of one color ink, in this case "Cyan," in order to continue printing I would have to replace that particular ink cartridge. Then I find out that I need to purchase all the ink colors in order to get the one color that I needed. The ink comes in a package of 4 ... one of each color. The way around having to do this is to order the ink and have it delivered or find a retailer that sells individual ink colors. What a pain. I would only recommend this product to a friend with the above explanation - as a warning - so don't misinterpret the "yes" in the recommendation box.

only way to get this # of ink in "standard" cartridges ;the printer is a newer model. not that long lasting for printing many pictures esp. on reg. printing paper from creative "graphic" art games:(this printer ,like some hps and cannons PULL TOO MUCH FROM "RED" INK CARTRIDGE.)

Ink supply in each cartridge is inadequate. Best Buy should carry the XL version of ink to provide a reasonably adequate ink supply and a better value for the consumer.

Works fine, but runs out of ink fast. The printer they fit has cleaning issues.

I will be in the market for a new printer - The Epson cartridges do not last very long and you have to buy the set every time! Ends up being too costly to print at home. Only pro i can think of, is that at least it prints.

Ink looks good but seems to run out quick. I have seen other ink cartridges last longer. But color quality is good.

I replaced all 4 ink cartridges just prior to Christmas and within a month had a message on the printer that 2 of the colors already needed replaced. We use this machine for printing and copying at the house so it's not like we're printing a hundred pages a day. We've had the machine for a year and this was the second time we had to replace the color ink cartridges.

Ink does not last long Good color but goes fast

Printer ink is expensive, and seems to run out far more frequently than you expect. I’ve been told/ and read that with inkjet printers, they should realistically be ran every week, otherwise the print heads dry out.

Was asked if I wanted extra ink cartridges but when I got home I saw they had given me the cartridge for a small number of prints, even though there is one for a larger number. Why? Who knows. And why have two? Who wants to go out to get more cartridges? Why not a cartridge that will do 5,000 pages or more for a business?

Happy to get another set of print cartridges. Now I will be able to print 10 or 12 pages of coupons or cartoons before they all run out of ink...again !!!!! It's criminal how little ink is in these cartridges. I will never buy an Epson printer again.

Had to buy seperate xl black noir. Plus this which was 50 dollars. Almost better off getting a cheaper printer. Ink on this is expensive. Dont last long either.

You can not purchase the XL ink from Best Buy, you have to purchase it direct from EPSON. These regular ink cartridges have to be replaced often if you do avery much printing

If you own an Epson 810, this is what you need to buy. You have to have the color cartridges charged even if you only want to print in black and white. The color effects are OK.

My Epson printer is very nice, much the ink cartridges don't last long at all. For the money you pay for them, fill them up!!

I'm not sure what happened but the black ink cartridge in this pack needed to be replaced within a month after I bought this and I didn't print that much.

The ink cartridges do not last long. I just bought the whole package and the black large cartridge and I am almost out. I have hardly printed anything.

Does not last long. Should be able to refill. Should be included in best buy rebate.

Maybe this was a bad package, but the ink that came with the printer lasted longer than this did. Only about 10 days. Magenta & yellow are almost out !

This printer and ink would be great for just printing documents or emails,,,not for pictures. I was disapointed with the picture quality.
