Use recommended ink for Epson printer this one each color has specific cap so you can’t fill the wrong color in your printer. Yes some ink are compatible but you are taking a chance on making a ink spill or accidentally filling wrong ink color 542 has specific cap for this reason and it even holds the bottle upside down as it

I just bought the Epson 16600 hopefully the ink would last longer. Is fast, quiet, it is big and heavy, one of my favorite things is the scanning both sides feature, it has this really glamourous MOTORIZED output tray that extends to the front by a good 9 inches, no more papers all over the floor.
