It works well and the setup was pretty easy. I have no complaints.

My first printer was an Epson RX-80 dot matrix printer that I still occasionally use (I reink and service the ribbon) on my MS-DOS machines. In the past 30+ years I've had multiple laser and inkjet printers from various brands. The cost of ink cartridges and toner (and the associated tedious maintenance of lasers) is something everyone should consider at purchase. My 2 most recent inkjets wouldn't print anything if any of the cartridges were low. This becomes especially annoying while attempting to print black and white while the cyan/magenta/yellow color cartridge(s) were low. The final straw was when the most recent inkjet failed to recognize three new OEM yellow cartridges (@$20 each). We've had the ET3850 for 2 months and nearly 500 pages. It does quality wireless print, including photos (especially on photo paper). The two sided printing is a bonus. The only short coming is the user interface (keypad & display) which isn't intuitive during setup and regular operation. Actual printing is seamless and automatic using MS and iOS devices. If the workmanship of the ET3850 is as good as my RX-80, I expect many years of cost effective and trouble free printing (and scanning).

This is a fantastic printer. I have not had any issues with it since I purchased it. It was easy to set up. NO more running out of ink for me when printing documents or photos, I made a wise choice when I purchased this printer, I would recommend this product.

Took some retry effort to set up wireless networking but working great thereafter for print quality & speed, even copying with document feeder. Ink fill-in is effortless, took all inks in tanks and should last years in our case (retired), as compared old HP OfficeJet Pro 7740. Purchased the plan for 4-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement just in case - this would be a good deal ($35) even for new unit.

This is my 3rd printer. Earlier I had bought AIO of canon and Epson but they always took a lot time to initial setup and they quality of print of first few pages was also okay whereas this one is simply amazing. I was able to setup quickly and the print quality is really good. I also like the paper tray. Like my earlier printers, where I had to keep the paper in open, but in this one I get a closed section. I also like the dual side printing and the ink tank feature.

The deal was so great and very competitive pricing. The refurbished packaging was so good and surprised to see a brand new printer without any scratch or damage. All of us were so eager to use the printer after filling the ink. But unfortunately at the initialization stage itself, the error message was displayed as " Printer Error 000041" and asked to restart the printer. Restart did not help. On goggle search got to know that if there is any stuck paper inside the printer, will get such error. Even though we did not load not even a single paper, verified that there is no stuck paper and restarted the printer. Same issue. All got disappointed and lost the joyful moment as the printer would no longer to be ours. With that sad face returned the product on next day. Never expected such experience and afraid to pick another one. Hence gave only 2 stars as the pricing was so competitive, but could not enjoy that.

I buy the refurbished products for 1/2 price and two years warranty. A good deal and warranty the same as new. The products work great, and if problems occur, it is replaced- the same as new. The Geek Squad always stands behind the purchase, so i am always confident in the purchases i make.

I love the economy aspect of this printer when it comes to saving ink, but I have struggled to get this to print wirelessly unless you go through the app, and then only if you print in PDF format.. I have and continue to waste too much time getting it to print wirelessly … maybe its because it was refurbished, just be aware.

If you rely on wireless connection between your computer and the printer, you have a major problem there. More often than not you will get a message stating "network connection error" and the only option given to fix the issue is to contact Epson Technical Support. Who has time for that?!

Customers often highlight the excellent print quality, overall performance, and ease of use of the EcoTank ET-3850. Many find the setup process to be simple and appreciate the printer's compact size and reliable connectivity. However, a few customers have noted that the printer can be a little noisy during operation. Overall, the printer seems to be well-received for its performance and user-friendly design.

So far so good. Upon start up I had a couple of minor issues that came up, but they were resolved quickly. My only dislikes about it so far are: 1) It only came in white, and I would rather have had black; 2) There were a lot of initial software updates that took more time to install than I cared for; 3) The screen has push buttons instead of screen touch, which I am used to; and 4) I don't like the lag time from when you hit print on your computer to when the printer actually starts to print. My likes are: 1) It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk; 2) It's relatively more quiet than other home printers that I've had; 3) The printer ink is easy to install and a lot cheaper than the overly priced ink cartridges that I had to buy from HP. Since this is for home use only, it's a better value overall for my family.

I purchased this printer because I had a good experience with my first EcoTank printer and because it has LAN connection. The printer/scanner works well. It's compact, so it doesn't occupy much space on the desk. It's versatile and good enough quality for home/small business. It's slower than I hoped, but still decent speed. I wish the display were touch screen... Warranty is also acceptable (13 months for refurbished).

At first, it was frustrating because it was so different from the HP, which kept breaking down. I dont do loads of copies, but the quality is good, and i love the easy refills.

The printer was easy to set up and works well. I don’t have a long-term review yet, but it should be much easier on ink which has been my main group with cartridge inkjet printers. There doesn’t appear to have been any concerns over the refurbished aspect of this printer.
