I’ve been using the Epson XP-6100 for basic home printing, and overall it gets the job done. If this is your first printer and you just need something inexpensive for simple, everyday use, it’s a solid option. Setup is straightforward, print quality is decent for documents and casual printing, and it’s compact enough to fit in small spaces. That said, it definitely feels like a budget printer. What I don’t like is that you have to manually pull out the paper output tray before printing. If you forget, it won’t print. It feels unnecessarily manual compared to other printers I’ve owned where the paper would just come out automatically. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s mildly annoying. For light, occasional printing, school projects, or quick documents, it works fine. If you print frequently, want something more seamless, or just prefer a more premium feel, I would recommend spending more on a higher-end model. Personally, next time I’d invest more upfront for something more automatic and robust. Would I recommend it? Yes, for beginners or simple use on a budget. No, if you want a more advanced, hands-off printing experience.

Easy to set up. Prints quickly. Not loud. Compact design. Not a touch screen - but it’s still easy to navigate. Ink is a little pricey for this printer but you have the added option of replacing each color individually. The print cartridges are much easier to access and install then other printers. All in all, a great home office printer.

This unit surprised me! It's compact, great looking, robust, and not too tricky to set up. I didn't read the instruction manual, instead I followed the onscreen prompts to set up wifi, to connect to my iphone, and to one old laptop that took a CD, and to a new one w/ no CD drive, but I used the Epson connect cloud service to print. It's a fast print, accurate, and at an affordable price!

I purchased this printer just in time before my family reunion. I was responsible for photo probs so I bought some card stock paper an the pictures came out great everybody loved them plus saved me money from having to go to a print station an having them charge me by the sheet....

The Epson XP-6100 I bought at Best Buy was very easy to set up. I thought the USB cable should have been included but I was able to use my own from another printer. The disk was easy to follow. The only thing that I noticed was that it printed in small type but that is good for ink value.

Former HP user, this Epson was a better price for small, basic printing and scanning needs. A small learning curve coming from “HP world” of all in one printers! The functions on this Epson are straightforward and intuitive.

This small desktop printer is amazingly power packed!! I have had no issues with it. Prints fast. Print quality is lovely! And, it will print in black and white only even if the document is color! That i love!!

Like most printers in this price range, this was designed to sell for less than usual and the company makes their money reselling inkjet cartridges. It does a decent job of quality printing on paper and photo paper. It won't print CDs, which is a feature I miss from my previous printer, but all in all, OK

I received the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 over a month ago and I'm happy and satisfied with it and its printing quality. So first I wanted to talk about the packaging, professionally wrap. All the parts are well protected mostly the inks. I set it up myself and it's easy to set up I dont even have to read all the instructions (though all the instructional materials are provided: booklet and cd included). Though it takes time to set it up for the first time especially when connecting to the internet took me around 10-20 minutes to finish up. But after that you are good to go in wireless printing from your phone, computer and iPad. Once you finished setting up your printer will automatically be connected to another device that share the same Wi-Fi network so you can easily print from your computer, laptop, iPad, or phones. I also have some awesome features like SD card and USB port. I think the great feature of this printer is its size. Very space efficient. Perfect for apartment/ home use such as myself. Really love the size because it doesnt take too much space. Also, would be a perfect match for students who live in dorms or rooms. My only issue about the printer is the paper catcher/ tray. I always forget to pull it out. And because of that the printer wont work. Aside from that the printer is really great. The ink seems to be working great and still half full which is really great after a month of use. This would be perfect for home use or home business use. It also prints a really good quality picture. I have attached some pictures of the printing quality. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

It gets the job done. The app to use it looks and feels outdated. The images printed on non-photo paper come out chalky or grainy. Despite claiming you can temporarily print in black and white if you're out of color, you will not be able to print a black and white photo. You will endlessly be prompted to go buy more ink cartridges. They're not sold by each color only in packs, and there's two separate black inks. You're looking at about $50 every time you run out of one color.
