When project movie on the screen. Its refelcting around the screen and completly disturbing the home theather experice. Best guy tech guys came and they could not able to fix it. Asked me to reached to product compamy. I had call to them and was in call more than 2 hours and followed their instructions, but did not help. The respose from product compamy is “this is best view we can provide”. See attached vidoes

I've tried two of these ultra-short throw projectors. The first was this Epson LS800B. That one was significantly brighter than this LG HU915QB; 20-25% subjectively. Viewing the Epson in a day-lit room was great. However it would not focus on the top third of the projection screen. Also the UI, remote and app performance (non-loading, crashes, etc.) were all return worthy. Just a miserable experience. For either set of issues, it's return worthy. Both ... I couldn't return it fast enough. Then enter the LG. The remote is 100 times better with backlighting and a host more quick access functions the Google/Epson UST failed to provide. The LG UST projector apps worked and came pre-installed. All were working on the first launch and did not require hours of setting up. The 3700 ANSI lumens is noticeably dimmer than the Epson/Google, but it is still viewable and enjoyable in a well-lit room with a light-rejecting screen. The focus need some fine tuning - easy to do on the LG model. Also, the keystone correction is 10 times more flexible than the other model and very intuitive. Perhaps too flexible? If so, you have the option to simplify how you adjust corners. and edges. Then finally, the picture quality is great, but I would give the Epson/Google model a slight edge in its 4K upscaling, projection .... whatever it does. Watching HD TV (HDMI input) on the LG lacks some sharpness that the Epson demonstrated. Streaming UHD content is great to view on either, with a specialized UST screen.

I really wanted to like this projector, I've had it for about 4 months now and it has not been a positive, issue free experience. this projector is plagued with sound issues, sound cuts out or it doesn't sync with my sound bar. Even a different sound bar has the same effect. The projector sort of forces you to use the included speakers and although they are decent, I have a surround system for a better experience, however I've spent more time troubleshooting and restarting that literally makes this projector worth much less than $3500. to summarize, I have a sound bar and the sound cuts out, or switches from sound bar mode to projector only sound mode, the only fix is to restart, or to keep switching inputs until it fixes itself. Picture quality is good if you have it with the Epson Silverscreen, However there are tons of dark scenes that displays an immense amount of noise. Grey color and grey color patterns also displays tons of noise, it doesn't matter if I'm on Apple TV, Paramount Plus, Netflix (streaming to my chromecast) or Hulu, it doesn't matter what app I have running, tons of noise is displayed during certain scenes. Terrible experience in my opinion, for $3500, this is a slap on the face. This is the one that hurts me the most, Game input (HDMI 3) is the worse idea they could have come up with, separating the inputs to have a specific input for gaming creates tons of issues. When I turn on my PS5, the projector turns on automatically, and switches to the HDMI 3 (Game input), however, the sound doesn't work right away, my sound bar doesn't work with this input either. I have to back out to the Home menu, press the volume up to "wake up" the volume and then switch back to the game input, extremely annoying and a terrible user interface. The picture quality also drops tremendously during game mode and you have to have a dedicated picture setting that would reduce the noise and display the right quality, however, your picture settings DO NOT work when you are using the HDMI 3 (Game Input) , you have to once again, go back to the home menu, by pressing the home button on the remote, change your picture settings then go back to the HDMI 3, I'm a hardcore gamer, I bought this for the gaming usability and low latency while playing, but to be honest, I'm thinking about returning this projector just for the terrible usability while gaming, extremely difficult to navigate and troubleshoot. the issues are constant, everyday I'm switching picture settings, so I can get the right picture for gaming or watching movies, everyday im restarting and muting the soundbar back and forth so I can finally get the sound synced, everyday I'm seeing large amounts of noise with grey colors. everyday I'm going from the game input to the home menu and back, just so I can change picture settings Really, do yourself a favor and spend a bit more and go for an LG or samsung or take a gamble with a different brand. I've already contacted Epson about all these issues, their response? just switch input modes so you can manipulate the sound and the picture settings, they basically told me this is how it was design. Very poor response from them and very poor user experience. You have been warned.

Worked great for the first 8 months. HDMI port quit working, warranty was still good, they sent refurbished unit. The refurbished unit worked great for approximately 6 months. I am constantly having to reboot projector, it does its own reboot at the worst times. Sound and picture are great when they work!

Bought this unit 2 years ago is a $4,000 projector and I have hardware failures. Now that it's out of warranty, I would not recommend this to anybody. Save your money! Epson warranties are terrible. All the repair places that are certified are super far away and nobody pays for shipping. It's unbelievable for the price they charge for these things.

Do Not Buy! Caution!! BestBuy HIDE RESTOCKING FEE!!!!! its $600.. I warn you about this as you will get it hoe and not be impressed with it.. its ok during day and at night its black levels are awful.. poor compromise and you can see pixels if within 20ft of it..

I've had this projector for one month and 3 days... It just stopped working. While in the middle of watching a show the protector just stopped projecting. The audio continued to play, but no more image displayed. Best Buys policy allows for returns on 15 days, so I can't being it back to them. I'll see how Epson handles the warranty and get back to this review after that. But as of now I'm extremely disappointed with this product.

So hard to actually be able to write a review. This is a horrible site. Anyway, spent thousands on the advise of my installer. Horrible!!! Wont connect half the time. Figure i should go with a tv but wont but it from Best But. They really are horrible

This model has software issues. When I press Off it restarts. I have turned it off many times only come come down the next day and find it had restarted. So, I press restart and it turns off. Find an alternative.
