The printer quality is good. It's IMPOSSIBLE to keep it connected to any wifi. If you have an old router it might work. Any Wifi 6 or 7 CONSTANTLY requires uninstalling and reinstalling. I've been with support half a dozen times. Each time we temporarily fix the problem. This isn't a firewall problem as I have a Brother printer and it works fine.

Purchased this printer 9 months ago. Over half of the time I attempt to print, this printer requires using the Wi-Fi Wizard to completely reconnect to my home internet. Most of the time I use the printer, I run into issues and spent 10-20 minutes troubleshooting and restarting the printer and the device commanding the print job. Usually once it's connected, it will continue to work without error throughout the rest of the day. It eats through ink, but that's relatively standard for at-home printers in this price range with the size ink cartridges equipped. All that said, the print quality is at or above my expectations, but I would still recommend an HP printer with similar features. My last HP printer lasted 9 years with light usage.

Had this model for a month now. Printing docs works great. Today I tried the copy function and then the scan function. Bummer. Pressed copy about 10 times. Nothing. A couple more times and it finally copied the document. Then tried scanning it. Got either no response, or after 5th try, prompted to download scan program. Pushed that prompt. Asked me what printer but didn't list any. Then kept sending me to doc destination. Took 3 tries to input " computer" and not "cloud" or "wsd." Then kept sending me to maintenance and two other unrelated choices. Then a "send" prompt pops up on the side. Press that and it sends the image to the computer. I finish the scan and have no luck finding it in my pdf files. Do the whole thing over and select jpeg and destination "my downloads". I finally get success and locate the scans in "my downloads." I am ready to take this epson back. What a total pain. Read all of the reviews. Did I just get a bad one, or what?

The actual printer is not made with the best quality. It functions fine. It was easy enough to assemble and software setup was easy to follow. I’ve experienced a fair number of paper jams. And the ink cartridges run out SUPER FAST! I would not recommend this printer on the basis of having to spend so much money on constantly having to replace the ink cartridges.

Easy to set up and use however, ink life is very short, the print quality is average at best

I've had a couple of Epson printers over the years and LOVED them. Mine recently died after 5 years so I bought a new one. Epson's are so user-friendly. Super easy setup. Pretty good quality (for the price) when it comes to printing. Have had the WF-3820 for a week now and will be returning it. It makes awesome, clear copies when done from my PC or device via a doc or pdf, etc. BUT when I make a copy from the printer itself (as in lift up the cover and place something on the glass plate or via doc feeder) the quality is HORRIBLE! I know the printer has the ability to make great copies because it does when I print from a device so it's not the ink, settings, or anything else. I've installed the driver, played with all the settings but still produces crappy copies. It's brand new, as is the ink and I even did all the maintenance suggestions like cleaning the heads. Nothing changed. Not sure if it is just this one or if all WF-3820's are bad but I am going to buy another brand. Unsure why this is happening

This is the third Epson Echo Tank I have owned. Three strkes and it it out. The ink printer heads seem to dry out and will no longer print. I tired several things. Followed You Tube how to fix. These never worked. I will do a lot of looking at other printers before purchasing another printer. Looking a $79.00 printer. I would consider this to be use and recycle oncw a year.

I researched all-in-one printers for a while and finally decided on the Epson WF-3820. It had the features that we needed and it was within our budget. Once we got the machine set up, it printed from the computer just as it should. After three days the printer started disconnecting from the wifi. We were able to reconnect the printer and haven't had anymore issues with that so far. However it does disconnect from our network on a regular basis and it will not print envelopes. Every time we get it set up to print no. 10 envelopes, we get an error message stating that we don't have the printer set up to print envelopes. I have tried troubleshooting the issue and nothing works. Of course, I shouldn't have to troubleshoot a brand new product. It should work correctly right out of the box. We only use this a few times a week and aren't abusive to it, so I am left with the conclusion that this is not a very good all-in-one. I would not recommend this product.

Has serious issues with the paper feeder. After loading paper, it takes multiple attempts to get the feeder tray to engage properly when pushed back into position. (printer will flash an error message indicating the paper tray is not inserted correctly and will not print until the issue is rectified). Visually, the tray looks to be in the correct position, so after each insertion attempt, you have to try to print something to find out that the tray still needs attention. Periodically, when printing documents with multiple pages, several blank pages will come out in between the printed sheets. This issue seems to be more prevalent when the paper in the tray is running low. And of course you then have to pull out the paper tray to put the blank sheets back in and end up wasting valuable time trying to get the paper tray to engage properly.

Wireless option is useless. I have to uninstall and install it again about every other day. The printer is about 4 feet from the router. Also uses quite a bit off ink.

I bought the Workforce Pro based on the positive reviews and what the all-in-one device has to offer at a decent price. After 2 months of using the device, the wifi connection is intermittent and requires a restart to get a connection. Even after a restart and wifi connection, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to receive a document and print it. Print quality is good when it prints. The quality of the feeder for scanning and faxing documents is very poor. At most, I can only run three pages through the feeder. Any more causes a jam or the feeder will not send the next page.

I received it in a timely manner. I really do not like it. The paper tray does not easily slide in when loading paper. The finished product does not look sharp. I had several issued with connectivity. i am returning it this week.

Literally picked this up today and already hate this printer. I have an HP that dosnt print photos and gives me and my boyfriend a lot of issues. I got this one beacause its not a cannon (last printer that got the blue screen of death for no reason after 2 years) and its not an HP. Well, paper wouldnt feed right away and was stating there was not paper. Was inserted correctly and fanned (which is really dumb that you have to fan paper this day and age). Got a notice there is firmware updated so I assumed that was the issue. It was. Well, cancelled the 2 jobs in the queue and they will not go away. They have been cancelled and in process of being cancelled for about 10 minutes now. I did a printer head alignment and that printed and worked. I tried to print something else to see if the cancelled jobs would go away, no dice. The new job sat and stated "unknown status". Cancelled that one just fine. Other two are still pending cancellation out of the queue This is not a good start and I would have avoided if I had known. May be going back to the store.

The WF-3820 is a Good copier. Clear copies, fast printing, even in color. Scan feature is not so good. Very slow scanner, and will NOT automatically scan both sides of a document. Very cumbersome to scan both sides manually, and arrange into a pdf document. Would not recommend the WF-3820 if you use the scan feature frequently.

[Employee of bestbuy] Worked fairly well for the first several months. Then at 9 months, all paper jams. Won't even print a single page without it jamming. Will be returning as I have a warrantee.

It prints so slow. The quality is ok. not great. Ink runs out quickly. For the price that I paid, $199.00 a year ago, here's what I found out. the paper tray catches a lot and lately has been double feeding. The scanner only scans one page, not double sided from either the glass or feeder tray. The printer does 1>2 copies, not 2>2. I would have expected these features to be available for a "Work Force Pro" title in the model. Very misleading packaging and information. I will stick with HP printers. This was a waste of time and money for me.

This printer is just ok. Every day I have to shut it off and restart it to wirelessly connect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. It's also very slow to print from my computer.

Worked well until it didn't. It insisted on new Epson cartridges after having used off market for some time. Ok fine. But now it refuses to recognize the black Epson cartridge. Spent 20 minutes troubleshooting. Also had problems with it connecting on the network.
