After 14 years with an old Roomba, switching to the eufy S1 has been a game-changer. I’ve been using it for 4 months now and it is working great. The biggest difference is the room mapping; unlike my old Roomba’s random "bump and turn" pattern, this robot is incredibly organized and much more thorough. The mopping feature is a nice touch—it’s similar to a light manual mop and keeps the floors looking fresh. In terms of noise, the robot itself is actually quieter than a regular vacuum. Just a heads-up: the all-in-one base is quite loud when it’s emptying the bin, but that only lasts for a few seconds. A few things to keep in mind for new owners: Electricity: I noticed my monthly power consumption went up slightly. To manage this, I changed my schedule from daily cleaning to 4 times a week, which helped the issue. Prep Work: You still need to "robot-proof" your floors to prevent it from getting stuck on cords or small items. The App: I love using the app to mark off-limit zones to prevent jams. However, be careful with power resets—if you do a full reset to clear an error, it wipes the stored map, and you’ll have to let it remap the whole house again. Overall, it's a fantastic, organized cleaner that makes my old vacuum feel like a relic!
