Camera out the box, impressive. $550 for 2 cameras you would think they included 2 charging cables, NOPE. you only get one. I had to charge camera one at a time (8 hours each). One camera took 5-6 attempts before it connected to the Home Base (not good for a top brand 4K router and Google Fiber Internet). I thought I was good to go until attempting to install. Camera appear to be too heavy for the plastic mounting brackets. Picture will tell all; could not get the camera to stay up, it just droops to the ground like its too heavy($550 heavy Droopy JUNK) . I place something underneath it to get a zoom view (2K, 4K and 8K) The quality was decent. Garage Sale sign at 2K, 4K and 8K was great. However it could not read the street sign at 4K or even 8K, NOT GOOD Eufy! So the object will have to be at least 5 feet away before it reads a license plate in 4K (good to know Eufy, maybe you should advertise that.) The second camera I could not get pictures because it would not stay screwed onto the stand. I hung it, same thing with the first camera, it drooped down, but this one would not stay screwed onto the bracket, good think I didn't let go else the camera would have fallen to the ground and broken. Too bad I can't test the motion detection to give it a review. Eufy, I had hight hopes for your 4K security camera, maybe you should upgrade from plastic mounting and consider something to withstand your heavier cameras. Pro: Easy Home Base set-up Cons: only 1 charging cable for 2 camera set, plastic mounting brackets will not hold camera, not everything can be read in 4K or 8K zoom. No one camera available.

Awful cameras. Missing key motion moments, lags and sends notifications for a motion detected sometimes hours after the event happens, not following specified detection areas, not charging, constantly disconnecting, not properly registering people versus animals versus cars. Worst system available in my opinion. The issues began happening more and more frequently after just a few months in use. In less than a year they stopped charging altogether and are now completely useless.

Eufy/Anker will not honor warranty if you live in hawaii. My S330 just stopped working out of nowhere, so I contacted Eufy because it's within a year, so the warranty is still valid. I get in touch with a person through email, and I do the troubleshooting they asked me to do, but it remained broken. I emailed them back my receipt and address that was asked of me. The next day, I checked my email, and they told me they dont support shipment to Hawaii. Honestly if I would have known that I wouldn't have purchased them. I feel like they should let those who reside in the state of Hawaii that if their camera fails, they will not be able to support them. Just be careful buying these because electronics fail all the time, but Eufy will not ship to you if you need a replacement camera, which is absurd.

Do not buy this if you have any IoT devices. The Homebase puts out a strong 2.4 ghz signal which causes interference with your routers 2.4 ghz band cause dropped WiFi connections and reduced speeds. I had to get rid of mine because every time I went to tell my Alexa to turn on a light or TV. It would say it was offline and couldn’t connect to it until I restarted both the router and Homebase then it would only work for about 24 hours if I was lucky. I do not recommend! The cameras were great but the Homebase 3 has that major flaw. You also can’t use the cameras without the Homebase 3 since they store their videos on the Homebase.

I have 4 of these cameras and a E330 door lock hooked up to this base. The base is connected via cable to my router. The router is netgear R8000P that is connected to a fiber modem with 1gig up and down. Should be plenty for streaming and it is for every other streaming thing I do. I have been a software engineer for the last 17 years. I know everything is fine. It is PAINFUL to wait for this base to give me the live feed upon a notification. Oh someone is at your door Ok let me see Decrypting ... decrypting... decrypting AAAANNNNNDDD they are gone What is the point of the security system if the very thing it is supposed to secure is being left behind. SHOW ME WHAT IS GOING ON ALREADY!!! I know what is going on. As it is recording the person in front of my front door, it is unable to stream it to me at the same time. so I can only see the event AFTER THE FACT! WHAT??? Total waste of money

These are not good. I had Arlo cameras and didn’t have an issue other than someone telling me that the quality of the Eufy video was better. That’s true. The distance that they start recording is horrible. They don’t start recording until the movement is within about 12 feet of the cameras. I tried turning the sensitivity all the way up, using with and without the activity zones, checked software, reset the base, etc. These are horrible other than the quality when they finally start recording.

I do not recommend this product way over priced and byond under preforms. The motion zone misses so many events its a hit and miss plus you have to pay an outrageous yearly subscription i highly recommend a cheap (wyze) wth is me secondary for the same location. This is not 24/7 continuous the only good thing this has is that solar strip but you have to have that sun hit it if it doesn't you will need to charge it at least like once a week however the other good thing is the quality of the image

3 months in and I'm already dealing with failing cameras. I switched to Eufy to get away from the subscription model of other cameras. I already had a eufyvac that I liked and thought I would try their cameras too. I've been happy with the app and with the video quality as well. However, events do not record unless something moves close in front of the camera. We're talking 16 feet or so. On top of that, now one camera will not connect to the app anymore. It is fully charged and when mounted, the light just comes on and off until the battery drains all over again. Disappointed to say the least

Absolutely horrible motion sense and notifications Only see motion if something is less than 2 feet away and even then the notification is delayed. I ordered these camera in July. Since then they have been replaced 3 time. The main issue with these cameras is that either the solar panel will work of a day or two, then will stop powering the cameras completely, or the battery will not charge at all even when plugged in. This camera system was a COMPLETE WASTE of money. However the video quality, motion tracking, recording 10/10. If Eufy can fix the issue with their solar panels and camera batteries, it would be a great buy, but until then invest your money in a different home security system!

Please not that I have purchased two systems and they both have the same problems. I wish that I could give these cameras a zero or negative rating. I have had these cameras for a year and I have given them more than enough time. I bought these cameras because of their long range. I live out in the country and my gate is pretty far. They seemed to work ok at first and I had to tweak them to be more sensitive. Let me start with the internal storage. I bought the recommended hard drive that goes with the system and installed it per directions. I have gotten non-stop messages that the "hard drive needs to be formatted" for a year. It doesn't matter what I do. Both systems. These cameras have onboard storage and that is what I have to rely upon if I want to see anything. The worst thing about these cameras is that they record EVERYTHING BUT WHAT I NEED TO SEE. These cameras only pick my car up in the drive way and occasionally a person turning around and our regular mailman. Never anything sketchy and they never show the garbage and recycling pickup. I am having issues with their large trucks hitting my mailbox, running over my landscaping and ruining my driveway. I finally tried using their AI capabilities. I have had people come through my gate and leave things on my doorstep....no recording. It only records normal activities, with or without their AI function. I bought two of these systems. One for the office and one for home. Everything at the office is being recorded except for when someone tried to break into our door. I want to return them. Eufy, please contact me for a refund.

got the homebase with 3 cameras loved the easy setup ,the chime notifications the 4k picture , but none of the cameras were picking up more than 5 feet away when it says 20/25 feet which i needed it to do but did not for $500 it should live up to that expectation so i returned these cameras also do mot record 24/7 only record movements

Whaf a waste of money this was. So let me save you some time, just dont bug it. This only records people. If you are lloking tonrecord wjat is jappening on uojr street or if your car git hit ans you need to see who did it you wont find it on tne recordings unless the person gets out of the car and for that yoi will only have 120 seconds. You will thank me later.

Bought two of these systems. Mounted one camera tied to one homebase and another camera tied to second homebase both on the same pole to the same street. They worked well for a period of time like fifteen minutes. Then they both stop working and do not record a video. They just stop working periodically. Then they start working well again. The support person told me to take the cameras down and reset them by setting them next to the homebase. If the cameras seven to ten feet off the ground need this kind of attention after a day? Not a security camera. Another huge problem is that they require an internet connection at all times to work. The cameras stop recording to the homebase if the internet is lost. So you can not battery back up the homebase for a secure security system. Bear in mind that the cameras send the video to the homebase hard drive over their own communication channel. Why does it need internet to safely store the video in the homebase for retrieval over the internet when you want it?

[Employee of bestbuy] These battery powered cameras start recording more than 5 seconds after the motion detection. Recording starts after the person or vehicle left. After the theif leaves the place with package. I have another ring camera that captures video few seconds before actual event. Video quality is nothing when the primary requirement of event capturing does not work as inteded.

The charging for the cameras is not great. I have to get someone to exchange them out so i can physically charge them inside. That seems to go agiants what the description states, that they are solar powered. I have had to have someone change them positions and locations thinking the sun was hitting it correctly but being that at times it charges and at times it doesn't seems to me that the devices are defective. I am disabled and having to get people to climb a ladder to get them down is not what i had in mind to contiguously do to protect where i am living. Bad quality for the price i paid.

One of the cameras wasn’t working from factory. Best Buy is giving me the hardest time to exchange the one that didn’t work. I’m still trying to get the exchange and get the whole system up and running. I had a very bad experience with the product and Best Buy. Awful customer service!

These did not have a reliable connection, and accessing the video on a computer was a nightmare. It requires you to log into a service after generating a URL every few hours.
