Won’t record more than a few seconds of the events

AI is hit amd miss. If U’re getting it for the ai function, U’ll be disappointed that its not able to recognize people most of the time. If it did it would record the face or allow you to be able to edit if face was detected wrong. The 4K x8 image is not truely 4k, 8x zoom os just cropped version of the image wheter 1080p or 4k. In terms of security concerns, wify isnt as private as they claim. Unless something bette comes out, ill stick with eufy for now.

Only records once objects or people start to move in camera. Doesn’t record the whole day only records when it detects movement, doesn’t seem like it’s 4k cameras. The cameras can run out of battery if there isn’t much sun. Better off getting one you can connect to outlet.you are able to talk through the camera. You need to add the app and set up cameras on the app.

Quality app and video for sure but motion detection is not meeting expectations but still trying to achieve better results on detection. BTW, I used a certified installer to for installation. Customer support is responsive but don't seem to have a practical handle on the issue.

Disappointed. We currently have arlo and i hate paying for a subscription. We researched very well before purchasing this eufy system. The picture is very clear. The wide viewing angle is 135 and the distance it picks up is 30ft. It was easy to install and somewhat easy to operate. Heres where we were Disappointed. This system was almost $600 with tax. Then it wouldn't detect any vehicles. We could drive in and out of driveway/garage and no detection. We had our neighbor drive in , sit and leave and nothing recorded or notified us day and night. It would pick up people and animals no problem. Our mailbox had been messed with so we wanted this to monitor it as well but the limited 30ft was a problem. Our mailbox was 36ft from camera. Our arlo doorbell which is more than 10ft further back and around the corner was picking up more activity than this. Our camera was installed within the 7-10ft range. You also cannot personalize the AI whichis what we thought the Ai was doing with our vehicles.

Picture quality is great. Detection can be sketchy.The solar panels on the cams aren't great but the batteries last about 2 months before a recharge is needed.The app is very basic and clunky. The customer support seems driven by AI and is effectively pretty useless.

Unfortunately, I had to return these. The base does not connect wirelessly and needs to be plugged into the internet hub. I have starlink which made that a difficult process. Otherwise I sure they work fine.

Clear except when you zoom out the farther you zoom out the blurrier it gets can’t really tell licensee plate from far away or get a clear photo of someone’s face I could have just stuck with the 2 k for the price difference I guess only better thing is they are solar powered

There is considerable delay sometimes from when motion is detected to when it starts recording. If you watch the camera live it does not record. On 4 occasions a camera has complelety failed to record or notifiy me a person approchedy house from the side (i have a side camera with sensitivity turned up). This is concerning because each time it was someone doing work next to a bedroom window. If the sensitivity is too high it alerts me when the wind blows but still misses people. The app leaves alot to be desired - you can only view one stream at a time and they take several long seconds to load when switching. I dont think I could count on these caneras in a situation where my house is broken into or if i need them for a police report.

Camera quality is really good. The biggest draw back is the time it takes to record and notify you. If someone is moving fast it’ll just barely catch the movement or not record at all.

The video quality and app integration for this product is fantastic. I am disappointed that this company has not integrated software compatible with HomeKit. The previous homebase has HomeKit compatibility, but this one does not. The 4K quality of this is fantastic. It’s only because of the software integration that I have it 3 stars.

Cameras are very clear however the time stamp seems to be wrong most of the time!

The solar charging is subpar, even in mostly sunny weather. Randomly, a camera will just stop transmitting and drain battery for -30% in a matter of hours... then suddenly the camera works again. This requires taking the cameras down and charging often.

It has a delay in picking up movement. Disappointing

The camera quality is great and all but I wanted something with a live view and this doesn’t do that.

Returned item to store, Im sure it may work good in some applications, but I wanted a system with longer range motion detection, also these cameras motion detection does not work through windows which I did not know,

Iffy on the facial recognition. I was stuck between this and the ore compact and less expensive 3c. I wanted the solar built in. Wow these are huge every guest comments, and in your face. I wish I had gone with the more compact version.

The camera's are 4k and solar powered which is nice. But no manual for setup or changing settings with the merchandise or online makes for not so good experience. Doubt i will recommend this to anyone.

Not bad, solar panels won't keep up though. Too heavy and camera shifts.
