These cameras step it up to a whole another level. I believe the other brands, are still fall along behind. The price is good, the quality is excellent, the app has everything you need. And it ain’t nothing like the other ones where you have to pay a monthly service. It’s free! I have bought every single brand out there, and to be honest nothing is comparable to this. And the best thing it’s expandable within its same ecosystem of course. It can be connected to a hard box nvr as well. It’s cross compatible, the wireless work with the wired. It’s crazy good. It’s all I’m using now.

I recently installed the Eufy E40 Security Cam, and it has exceeded my expectations for a wireless home security camera. The 2K video quality is sharp and detailed, both during the day and at night. One of the standout features is the color night vision, which provides a much clearer picture compared to traditional black-and-white night footage. The setup process was simple, and the Eufy Security app is easy to navigate. Motion detection works well and does a good job identifying people while reducing false alerts. I also appreciate that recordings can be stored locally, which means there are no mandatory monthly subscription fees. Battery performance has been solid, especially when paired with the solar charging option, making it very low maintenance. The camera is weather-resistant and has handled rain and heat without any issues so far.

Great camera system that provides multiple options for setup, surveillance, and data retention. I never wanted to buy into a subscription service and pay for hardware that might become useless without a recurring payment or lock out local storage to push for cloud servers so when it came to securing the area around my house after a passing crackhead bashed in my sidedoor window, I jumped on a deal for this Eufy set. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. You can "hardwire" these cameras (continuously charge for constant recording), charge them, or set them outside to utilize the built-in solar cells to keep them powered. You can buy into cloud storage if you desire but the included "homebase" DVR can be upgraded with additional harddrive storage so you'll always have access to it. I've had no issues with the app and the recognition for human figures and faces as well as vehicles and animals has been great. I enjoy getting notifications while I'm at work that my wife or children have been detected arriving home safe. Also humorous to see my cats or dog popping up into frame and setting things off, and having this camera set up at my side door has also helped me determine when they've escaped and helped me track them down. We also recently acquired a C30 doorbell camera from another vendor and this has worked well though it doesn't feature the same level of AI recognition. Still, it catches passersby and functions perfectly as a doorbell and two-way communication device. I'd absolutely recommend this product over any brand like Blinq (non-replaceable batteries, last I read) or Ring (locked into subscription).
