There is no SD card slot on the camera. To enable 24/7 recording and AI features: You must connect it to a eufy NVR (Network Video Recorder) or a HomeBase (HomeBase 3). The NVR/HomeBase provides the necessary storage and recording engine. So, if you only need real-time viewing, a PoE switch is sufficient. If you want continuous recording, the NVR/HomeBase is mandatory.
