Cleaned quite OK doesn't get into corners not very powerful when it comes to deep cleaning. But it is a very good helper being a mom of three small children. It's great for small spills, and quick cleanup. Does not replace original broom and mop, but is excellent for small debris easy to change filter, dirty water tank and replace water easy to navigate on phone easy to function.

The Omni E28 is one of the newest robot vacuums by eufy, combining some of the great features of their other models with a built-in portable deep cleaner in the base. The E28 was simple to unbox and setup, including the required companion app eufy Clean. They provide both floor cleaner and spot cleaner in box, so that you have everything you need to start cleaning right away. After a firmware update and a brief mapping run, I ran an initial cleaning to see how well it would perform. Considering the E28 replaced another brand robot vac that mopped and cleaned every night, I did not anticipate it to pick up much in our pet-free home. However, I checked the waste water tank in the basestation after it finishing mopping and self emptying and found the waste water to be much dirtier than expected. The HydroJet design features a roller style mop that continuously squeegees the mop and storing the dirty water on board until it returns to empty, instead of just transferring it all over the home as my previous robot vac did. The 20,000 Pa suction is also a significant improvement coming from my old vac and plenty to handle carpets with ease. The DuoSpiral brush design is also quite unique, splitting the rollers in half which can counter rotate to unwrap hair into the center suction design. Though the rollers aren’t near as wide as the mop roller, the dual side brushes do a great job of increasing coverage. Particularly well with the CornerRover arm which extends the left side brush into corners and hard reach areas of the home. It seems to have done a great job getting closer to edges and corners compared to other robot vacs I have used. Beyond the well performing robot vac, the included base self empties (75 day dust bag), refills mop water, empties waste water, and hot air drys the mop roller after the vac self cleans. If this weren’t enough, the top half of the base detaches from the lower pedestal and is now a portable deep cleaner. I was skeptical of how well it would work but I was again surprised that it actually did a great job cleaning both a chair my daughter colored and a small rug. Both of which had very old stains that I did not anticipate it to work on. Though it must be plugged in to operate, I still found having a portable deep cleaner ready to go is far more convenient and practical then having one taking up space in a closet. After a week of extensive use, the Omni E28 is overall fantastic, but I did find the base would leave residual wastewater in the robot. Clearly the mop design is superior in cleaning, but it does not fully empty the onboard waste water tank, which leaves the dirty water to stagnate and then cary that around your home. I could see this waste water leaking if the robot has to traverse uneven tile or large floor transitions, which is unfortunate. Hopefully eufy could update the base cleaning behavior to reduce residual onboard waste water. The eufy Omni E28 is the best robot vacuum for the price point, offering all you would need in a robot vac plus many unique features, combined with great performance and a well designed, intuitive app.

I’ve been using the Omni E28 robot vacuum for a few weeks now, and I have to say it’s pretty amazing. The cleaning performance is excellent and the suction power really stands out. It picks up dust, crumbs, and pet hair with no problem, leaving the floors looking great every time. The navigation and mapping are also really impressive. It moves efficiently around the house, doesn’t miss spots, and is super easy to set up and control through the app. I like how simple it is to schedule cleanings or just start it up when I need to. There are a couple of downsides though. The self-emptying base station gets pretty loud when it empties the bin, and the vacuum itself is a little big, so it doesn’t fit under some of my lower furniture. Overall, the Omni E28 does an awesome job cleaning and makes life easier. Even with the noise and size, I’d still recommend it for anyone who wants a powerful, easy-to-use robot vacuum.

Firstly unit came nicely packaged in a really big box lol. Unboxing was easy and setting up is really easy as well. QR code provided to download the correct app from your App Store and connectivity was simple and connected properly on the first try with ease. I appreciate that because with all the traffic on our network I always have issues with connectivity but the vacuum stays connected and using it through the app is simple enough for Non tech savvy users who are worried about too many options. I’ve had many robot vacuums since they’ve come out and every year they get a little better, quieter, and map better. This thing does a great job 👏 of vacuuming, transitions from hard floor to carpet (it pauses on the edge and I hear the vacuum come on prior to going on the carpet). I’m impressed with its mapping capabilities gathering details of the furniture and fixed counters etc. I’ve used this every day for the last week just testing it and it hasn’t got stuck once so another positive. I’m worried about longevity as these usually do good for 6 months to a year then start getting stuck or acting funky so I’m excited to see if this does better over time. The reason 4 stars is because while relatively quiet during use, the auto empty feature during docking is ridiculously loud. And why does it take 20 seconds to empty a little container? I do like the hand held retailer as well easy to use and does a decent job. I would recommend to friends and family who want an easy to use sleek looking vacuum with great mapping

Very Good robot, coming from a Roborock Qrevo Curv, this thing is better in almost every way, its better than S1 pro in most of the features too. Excellent suction, amazing corner pickup and needless to say best mop in the industry at the moment. The portable spot cleaner is a very good addition that surprised me on how well it works and cleans, very recommended. Downsides are the noise the base makes when self cleaning because of the portable cleaner motor, also the weight of the base is none so it moves easily.. All in all, right now for th emoney i think this is the best value out there.

This is a great product. Mine works well but i have all tile floors and few to no rugs so the job is simple. I think the key here is to have it clean each area twice (customizable in the app) and to have it clean while everyone is asleep because the base station is loud. Not quite loud enough to really wake us up at night but loud enough to disrupt us during the day. I love the carpet cleaning attachment! Thats why I bought it; took out so much dirt from my couches. Overral its a great product. But understand that a human could do it better. Its not designed to outclean you but rather to save you time! I will probably sweep and mop myself once a month to do a deep cleaning and in my opinion, thats better than 2-3 times a week in my high traffic household.

Slightly too tall for getting under my counters. Does great at cleaning up after my dogs. Much quieter operating than my roomba.

So far it does everything way better than my Roomba did except 1 thing which is get over high transitions from room to room, basically thinks my bathroom is a solid wall now because it can't reverse itself up, maybe put an option in to make the hurdle. Outside that my floors have never looked cleaner and it does a pretty solid job switching from carpet to solid flooring.

The product performs effectively on hardwood floors; however, in certain areas, dirt accumulation can lead to black marks resembling gum residue. While the suction mapping is adequate, there is room for improvement.

Works well. The only main complaint is that when you remove the portable part, either to use it or to change the bag, when you put back , it annoying keeps saying that it's not on correctly so you have to keep trying and trying until it stops. That is annoying but otherwise, seems to do the job.

I have been using a robot vacuum for day-to-day cleaning my carpets for almost a decade now. What started as a niche market, more like a toy rather than a serious cleaning machine, has now grown to be something that’s standard nowadays. And with that now we have many competitors, many features, and capability that has grown useful hundredfold. So when I was able to get my hands on the Eufy Omni E28 - a new take on the all-in-one cleaning machine, I was excited to see how things have changed since I last upgraded by robot vacuum 5 years ago. And boy it didn’t disappoint. After using it quite vigorously for the last 2 weeks or so, here’s what I found works and some of the things could be better. First of all, the Omni E28 is a big “installation”. By that I mean the robot itself is not that big, but the docking station is large. And I was okay with the fact that this is not a charging dock, rather the “service station” for the mobile unit. It is the dust and dirty water collection station for the robot, as well as the source of clean water and detergent for mopping sessions. And furthermore, which is the unique feature Eufy wants to showcase, is the detachable spot cleaner. The top of the station, which houses the water reservoirs (for both clear and dirty water), can be taken out and used as a stand-alone spot cleaner for heavy messes on the carpet etc. It has its own hose and nozzle (which tucks away quite nicely when not in use, under a cover). Eufy includes a spray bottle of the cleaner with the package which is a great touch. Unfortunately the unit needs to be plugged into an outlet. The cable is decent size, but every time I had to take it out to use, I always wondered how great it would’ve been if it were battery powered. Coming back to the main robot - it uses a camera, LiDAR and whatnot to sense the outside world. The first thing after setting it up is mapping the house, and once it has completed this I was amazed how accurate it was. It was able to detect all the rooms, and the carpeted and non-carpeted areas with almost uncanny precision, with the most creepy thing being able to detect my kitchen, office space, and the living room. Yes, it felt uncomfortable, but at the same time there’s a sense of magic. The robot has a flexible bumper on the front, and two extendible brushes that whips out the dust from the corner in front of the main roller for vacuuming. The mop on the rear goes up and down automatically at it detects different surfaces. The setting up and using the robot can be done easily with the smartphone app(s). When I set it up, I downloaded the Eufy Clean app from the Play Store using the included QR code. However I later found that my existing Eufy app can be used as well. I think this needs to be straightened out as who needs two different apps for no reason. The app is well designed and I got the hang of it quickly. The web-based full user manual is decent, but could benefit from some polish in terms of search and navigation. Now the cleaning performance. The vacuum strength is admirable compared to the size of the unit. It does a very good job, and is definitely an upgrade from my older, aging unit. No, it can’t replace a standalone larger vacuum still - it misses a small nook or cranny from time to time, sometimes can’t extract everything from the carpet, but it’s definitely a big help. I treat this as more like a supplementary cleaner and not as a replacement, and this keeps my hopes limited and the outcome agreeable. Same goes for the mopping - instead of deep cleaning every week, I can now space out manual cleaning to every other week, and use the Omni to help me in between. It uses less water than I do, and makes smaller messes with less drying time. The one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb for me is the noise. The noise the robot makes is understandable and I got accustomed to it. It can be made less with using the app and choosing less suction power. However, during the auto empty session, the station makes a really loud noise - enough to wake you up in the middle of the night from one story up (fortunately there’s an option to stop doing so at nighttime). And it does so a number of times. Then, after mopping, it does a mop drying session, which is also not quite. It’s not as loud, but it goes humming for a few hours. This alone can make many people really annoyed, especially in a small home. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the performance of the Omni E28. I expected a lot, and it didn’t disappoint. It is definitely a big help for everyday cleaning. However, I wish the base station could be made a little less loud.
