A: The videos recorded by the eufy SoloCam S220 are stored locally on the camera's built-in 8GB eMMC memory. This local storage is capable of storing video recordings for up to 90 days, depending on the average recording time per day (calculated based on 500 seconds per day). Once the storage becomes full, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones. Additionally, if you want to expand storage capacity, you can connect the SoloCam S220 to a eufy HomeBase 3, which allows for additional video storage. The stored videos can be accessed using the eufySecurity app, which is compatible with Android (OS 8.0+) and iOS (12.0.0+).
A: The SoloCam S220 is compatible only with the eufy HomeBase 3. It cannot be connected to other HomeBase models, including the HomeBase you might be using for Cam 2 Pro. If you want to use the SoloCam S220 with expanded storage, you will need HomeBase 3.
