The HomeBase 3 adds these benefits: 24/7 continuous recording instead of only motion-triggered clips Centralized local storage (16GB built-in, expandable via USB hard drive up to 2TB) Enhanced AI processing for person/vehicle/pet detection and facial recognition Unified management for multiple cameras Audio playback through the HomeBase's internal speaker Better wireless range and reliability In short: the camera works alone, but the HomeBase unlocks continuous recording, smarter detection, and larger storage capacity.
does it have sound when watching camera or clip from it?

Can this be monitored on my i phone from a long distance. How far away from the camera be from solar panel.?
Answered by Eufy TeamYes, the SoloCam S340 can be monitored on your iPhone as it connects to your home WiFi and allows you to check the live feed from a long distance as long as you have access to the internet through the app. Regarding the distance between the camera and the solar panel, the cable provided for the solar panel is 10 feet (approximately 3 meters) long. Currently, longer extension cables are not available for this model. You can either mount the solar panel directly on top of the camera or mount it separately in a location with better sunlight exposure.
