Exophobia is a pretty good DoomVania or should I say Metroidoom? Whichever rolls the tongue better, it's still an incredibly solid time for those in need of that classic retro FPS from the 90s, the music is quite catchy, the environment is pretty smooth too but it has some issues, as the difficult can spike a few times also you'll come across some bugs that will break your game and also since there's no auto save you can lose some progress, but they werent too many to ruin my experience overall. Also the Physical release has some extra goodies that makes it quite worth it. (PS.- There's a true ending, I really recommend exploring thoroughly to get it otherwise you'll get a bad ending.)

For $25 this game was a good bargain for what it gives. Think a more lighter toned version of the 90's Doom games style and you'll have this game. Overall a simplistic game compared to modern shooter games but it also shows you don't need 4K graphics to be a fun game. Definitely worth a try and again at the price it's going for a real bargain too a game worth adding to a gamers switch collection.
