EZ Lock Deep Parabolic Quick Softbox (48") + Glow ArcLight II Curved Reflector Kit

The Glow EZ Lock 48" DEEP PARABOLIC SOFTBOX is an ingenious portable version of the light modifier famous for stunning fashion and portraiture images showcasing the incomparable safe and sure EZ Lock system. No more clumsy construction, fumbling with flex resistant rods or struggling in frustration for careful alignment of speedring holes. The 16-ribbed softbox opens up and closes down, 'umbrella style.' The ingenious self-catch EZ Lock surrounds a thick center shaft, providing a comfortable place for your fingers to push-lock the mechanism open, and a generous wide button to unlock-release and close the softbox painlessly. The quick-to-setup deep parabola bullet like assembly has all the advantages of a metallic magnum style reflector without the delicate nature. This folding unit is made for the road or studio, with sturdy aluminum support rods for structural stability and extraordinary fabric strength. The GLOW EZ LOCK DEEP PARABOLIC SOFTBOX is the ideal shape for the transmission of light, over short or long distances; the mirror-symmetrical parabola. The energy output of a monolight is enhanced from the particular parabolic bowl reflector design. The variations of use range from a soft quasi-reverse umbrella to a super hard polished magnum bullet, depending on your deployment. Allof the light that your high watt second flash produces pours out of the round softbox, surrounding your subject with a wrap of rich, even light, full of detail and realistic tactile quality, unique to this modifier design form factor. In essence, mastering the light is no accident. This one modifier can serve as a key light, as a prodigious reflector, imitate an outsized focusing umbrella, or by adding the gridded outer diffuser shield, change the overall wash of sharper light to aless harsh mood. The reversible opaque deflector cover causes light to bounce throughout and flood the wall of the outer bowlof the softbox, resulting in a softer spread of indirect light. The effect is gentler than obtainable from a standard reflector and markedly less harsh than of a speedlight. By flipping the deflector plate, you can realize differing levels of light distribution. Used independently, the inner diffuser can function as a central circular panel to diffuse hotspots, while maintaining the pop of the silvered rim of material extending beyond its position. The use of both outer and inner combine double diffusion material goes even farther to produce very soft light, thereby providing no less than three levels of contrast, sharpness, and dimension. There is exceptional light efficiency in this design, and the flattering results reveal human form with grace and warmth, lending strength to this softbox for typical full-length fashion, portra oor shoots, blending perfectly with daylight. The interchangeable speedrings open a world of adaptability to almost any speedlight, monolight or large barebulb strobe to serve asan optimal tool for mastering all location situations where quality counts. This extra-large 48-inch diameter edition of the Deep Parabolic Softbox is especially suitable for everything from fashion to portraiture, illuminating an entire person and small groups with smooth, nonetheless, exciting light. The finely finished silver interior lining makes it easy to achieve magnificent specular highlights, brings out sharp details, and provides the most focused indirect lighting, along with soft shadow definition. Enjoy a crisp, brilliant throw that can be tamed with a clever diffusor place just so. The severe parabolic reflector shape directs all the light in one controllable direction. With much attention to minutia inits tough build, from resilient form-fitting fabric to flexible aluminum frame ribs, this GLOW EZ LOCK 48" DEEP PARABOLIC SOFTBOX sets the standard for portable light control for people and subjects.
