If I were to play this game with just a game pad it would be decent. But because of how it incorporates the Aim Controller it makes this game really great. With the gun you are able to control direction, change weapons, launch alternate weapon ordinance. You really feel like you are there in this Halo/Aliens mesh of a first person shooter. The story is new, genuine, and interesting. There are definitely challenging moments and you feel very accomplished for overcoming boss fights or getting ambushed. The only complaint is how the gun can lose consistent placement. Meaning its not quite being held how I'm holding it and so I'll have to try and change weapons or lower the weapon and bring it back up with the hope to recalibrate it in a manner of speaking. It's not terribly bad but enough from earning it 5 stars. All in all its a great game and worth the purchase! But you really need the aim controller to appreciate it.

The atmosphere is like a first person Mass Effect game which takes place in a VR space. I really enjoy the guns, story, gameplay, etc. controls were tight for the most part too. I went in with low expectations and came out blown away. A must buy for PSVR owners and FPS fans.

This game gets hard but the VR has you locked in. Everybody with PS4 needs a VR. I love mine...

This is a must have for VR owners. The VR is very immersive and takes you to the environment you are dropped into. Good story and a great experience overall. Can be used with either the dual shock or aim controller. Great buy!!

Farpoint is a shining example of the PSVR game title. Built ground up for being used with VR definately helps this title work better then other adapted games moved to VR. This leads to less motion sickness and smart menus and displays. Which dont convert to well to VR from games that weren't made originally for VR. Shooting in the games works quite well. I would suggest getting the VR gun accessory for a better experience. But just using the motion controllers work fine enough. I would pay around 10-20 dollars for this game. VR is not for the entry person yet due to eye fatigue and motion sickness. At a smaller price tag it will keep you from feeling bad when you only can play for short periods.

Very fun game for the vr. Even better with the gun.

Farpoint utilizes the PSVR. It does so very well, even being one of the first VR games for PS4. The action is fast paced and fun, and the controls are reasonably accurate.

This is a new type of experience. It's only the first VR game of its kind, but it's really impressive. First person shooters feel way more natural when you're actually holding the gun in your hand. I hope to see more games like this in the future. This is the only VR game that I have tried so far that actually feels like a full and complete game, and not just a tech demo. This game actually has an interesting and deep story. It’s not just a shooting gallery. It gets really interesting.

This game has a great storyline and is very fun to play. Playing this in VR is super immersive and the graphics are out of this world (pun intended).

To get the most out of this game, you need the Aim Controller. This game is very well done, you feel like you are there and the game is a lot of fun.

I love this VR game! Mars is a great backdrop. Great graphics and control with VR gun!

This game was the first time I got to use the PlayStation move control gun and it was a blast (no pun intended). VR games offer a completely different experience when it comes to gaming, and being able to do so with the specialized controller also enhanced the overall gaming experience. This is a first person shooter game in space where exploration and shooting are the highlights of gameplay. It is also easy on the eyes and one of the best PSVR games I've played yet.

I love the story behind this game, it plays well with VR, and the gun if you have one makes it even better

This is by far the best first person shooter in VR bar none. This game sets the bar and makes all others look like a tech demo tryin to make a quick buck. There is a lot of stories and levels in this game that you have to take a break or risk getting dizzy and falling on the ground. Not projecting or anything.

Farpoint has been out long enough that it’s extremely reasonably priced for what you get. As one of the headline VR titles for PSVR you cannot go wrong picking this up. The controls work with the aim OR moves (which I got with my Skyrim bundle). I recommend this alien blasting game for anyone that is a fan of FPS games at all!

The graphics are pretty cool and it’s fun to play in vr. I thought my old socom move controller gun would work with this but it doesn’t. Guess they want to force me to buy an aim controller. I think it will be more enjoyable with the aim controller.

This game is fun an immersive but do yourself a favor and get the AIM bundle definitely worth it.

The setting is a little dull, all chapters are the same setting on this alien planet. But the immersion with the aim controller is one of the best on PSVR. Game has few different types of weapons all mapped to the controller and a pretty decent story with good voice acting.
