Definitely worth the wait. Easily the best final fantasy in a long time. Very fun and addictive game play, awesome open world, simple yet deep character customization. And a fantastic story. Couldn't recommend this game enough. And the graphics are amazing from faces to details in monster enemies to the vast lakes and mountains of the open world. With all that is great there is some bad, but its not much. Towards the end if the game it becomes a bit linear but you can always go back to open world mode. Overall 5 stars.

When you boot up Final Fantasy XV, the opening splash screen says that this is a Final Fantasy "for fans and first-timers alike." That is absolutely true. I've never jumped into the previous games in the franchise, but I love FFXV for its huge open world, its interesting characters and story, and dozens of side quests to keep me busy. The combat is fluid and fun, and it has kept my interest for over 30 hours (so far). After over a decade in development, I feel like the wait for this game was well worth it.

I've been a fan of Final Fantasy games for a very long time. My first one was on the original Nintendo system. This is the first title, in awhile, that I'm actually enjoying. With a wide open world to roam and random battles that range from simple to overwhelming, the game is a fantastic addition to the long running series. It has beautiful graphics, a good battle system and it's just plain fun to drive around in the car. Definitely worth buying. Looking forward to the rerelease of FFXII.

Final Fantasy XV is a game for both newcomers to the series, and veterans alike. It's a beautiful game that has a lot to offer. The story is actually pretty good, and the characters really make it for me. They have a lot of dialog between each other in and out of battles, and along with pretty much anything you do, that makes you really understand the connection between all of them. Plenty of sidequests to do, and stuff to explore. I would definitely recommend this game.

After waiting over a decade for this Final Fantasy game it was worth the wait. The graphics and game-play are fine tuned and polished. The open world and its action work seamlessly. The battle system is not normal for Final Fantasy but was a nice and necessary addition to the franchise. The camera can get a little weird sometimes but that's a minor issue compared to how well the game is. The packaging is beautiful featuring artwork from Yoshitaka Amano.

Above average story with a battle system that's more akin to kingdom hears than other final fantasies ( although Square Enix has been moving to this kind of system for some time now). Graphics are gorgeous with few games that can surpass it. Although u could switch back to a more turn like setting in the menus, the real time system is the best to maximize enjoyment of the game and your characters abilities. Even the characters hobbies added a little more depth to them (although I though they were hokey when I first heard about them). I'm not sure the old hard core of final fantasy will quite enjoy this one as it is much more of a western RPG style than a JRPG but at least I did.

Welcome back to Final Fantasy, but not the FF you remember. Still even though the classic Fantasy series has left its old ways the new game is set to invite all players. Great story and great combat. Also it's ever updated changes help improve the game again and again.

Over 100 hours in this game & still haven't revealed all it's secrets there was literally so much to do, the outstanding quality Square really showed through with great music, crisp visuals(day or night), fun fluid combat(some rare cases camera will give a bit of trouble) an interesting compelling story. With the added content coming down the line will definitely add more to the experience.

Wow after FFXIII disappointed me this game made me love Final Fantasy again. NOTE this game was in production 2006 and was originally called FF Versus XIII . This was a spin off to the series but after delay after delay it was rebuilt for PS4 as FFXV. Awesome game that is what I been waiting for graphics, music, battle system , and so on all top notch.

I can't really say enough about this game. The visuals are outstanding, the story is interesting with plenty of side-quests to keep you busy for hours. The music is beautiful, though not as memorable as previous games in the series. If you're a long time fan, or new to Final Fantasy, you're bound to enjoy what this game has to offer.

First part of the game is open world, second part is more a story driven linear game. Combat system is a lot fun, I never got bored of it. There is so many things you can do in the post-game. I would recommend watch the anime and the movie before you play this game, so you can get a bit more back story.

Final Fantasy 15 is really different game of the series. Open world is a good thing and a chore at times. The story is interesting. Side quests are sometimes tedious. The battle system is really fun and sometimes challenging if you don't level grind. The game isn't better than ff 7,9,6,4,5 but it is well worth the play. The game seems to have a likeness to ff12 a lot with several elements. If you like ff series or just an rpg fan I recommend you to play it.

A wealth of content, fun, well developed characters, and a great story. First off, I understand the gripes with certain things, such as the "grindy" nature of some parts of the game, but this is not new to Final Fantasy's core games. I understand all the back-and-forth traveling needed to complete quests. However, this all pales in comparison with what the game is. Granted, I have yet to finish it (taking my time to enjoy the ride), but what I have played, absolutely enjoyable. The minigames, the events, and even the graphics are phenomenal. 5/5 would recommend this.

Great game overall for both people who are new to Final Fantasy games and those who are veterans to the series. All (well the vast majority) of Final Fantasy Games are wholly independent and separate stories from others in the series so if you've never played a Final Fantasy game before, this is perfectly fine to pick up. Story is a solid 4.5 and the gameplay itself is a 4. Still getting a 5 because the game is constantly getting content which is a first for a Final Fantasy standalone game.

I have been waiting for this game since it was once called Final Fantasy Versus 13. Now it is considered the 15th part of the series and it is amazing. Free Roaming with three of your besties (in-game) and making sure you accomplish the story mode is one of the great part about this game. Great Graphics, Battle System, and Game Mechanics in general. Recommend this game for fans and none fans since it is another story that is not followed up by a prequel.

Is it the best Final Fantasy? In my opinion no but it certainly is not the worst. Great graphics but I feel it could have been better especially after 10 years of development. If you like open world RPG games then this is a great one to add to your collection. The story and the characters seem light hearted and cheesy but as the story progresses it gets darker and emotional. Great game, not perfect but worth the buy. It is better to buy the Deluxe Version because of the movie that's included which will help you understand the events unfolding. I found that the movie was easier to understand after playing the game, rather then watching it before.

The story wasn't horribly difficult, it can be short, depending on what kind of RPG player you are. I'm an explorer. Vast amount of stuff to do post-story. Graphics are insanely beautiful. Music scores are as great as always. Been a fan of the series since FFV. Waited 10 years for this. It's great to see how much the franchise has grown. Highly recommend. Kingsglaive and Brotherhood add to the whole story immersion.
