Yes, it does.
How much square footage does this device detect ?
Inside the owners manual doesn't give you the exact square footage range that the device detects threats. I have it close just in case there is one or many.

Can be connected with first alert app so you get notified on phone if away from home? Or if any model has this feature with same features of detection?
Hi Mado, thank you for your question. This detector is not a Wi-Fi model and is not compatible with the First Alert app. We currently do not have a smart explosive gas detector. The SC5 is our smart model that detects smoke and Carbon Monoxide. - Maria
