This 2-pack includes two SMCO100V-AC alarms. Each SMCO100V-AC is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that pairs a photoelectric smoke sensor with an electrochemical CO sensor. Precision Detection sensing technology is designed to meet the latest UL 217 and UL 2034 standards, helping reduce nuisance alarms from cooking while giving early warning of a real fire. Voice and location alerts announce the type of danger and which of 11 pre-programmed rooms it was detected in. It connects to a 120V household circuit with a quick connect plug, interconnects with compatible First Alert and BRK hardwired alarms so that all units sound together, and includes a replaceable AA battery backup for protection during power outages. A single test/silence button, low battery warning and end-of-life warning make upkeep simple.
