My goodness! This is nice. The delivery box was pristene. The box itself is also pristene. Usually, when I see the outside of a package with marks or dents, it transfers to the inside box itself. Nope, nice and clean. The individual pieces were wrapped with care. I didn't notice in the picture, but a cover on the microphone is included. Anyway...I purchased this because I am going to use this for voice work. The interface came highly recommended. I found that a bundle was available. Another microphone that was recommend and that I considered buying would have to wait. At the time, for me, the audition had a deadline. Thus, I purchased the bundle. I installed the software that goes with the purchase by internet not disc. I'm still learning to use it and the affiliated software vendors have tutorials. I do realize what the db floor referred to. I used Audicity for the recording. When I recorded using my USB microphone, I can hear noise in the playback. As silent as my background was, I now believe it is related to power delivered over the USB and the microphone captured it. Trying out the included XLR, the power, referred to as phantom power, is provided by the interface. With that recording, I don't hear the buzzing sound, and it doesn't get captured in the recording. Big difference. I believe now the first recording using the USB did not meet the db floor. There is a buzzing sound. Audicity's meter lit up away from the db floor. The second recording had no buzzing sound. The meter did not light up. For anyone that auditions for voice work, that alone can get you rejected if your db floor does not meet the requirements. I'm almost positive I will increase my chances of being selected because I will match that db floor that is within the requirements. A little bonus, the included cardboard is scored to be assembled as a microphone holder. They are helping with upcycling cardboard. I can use it in the meantime until I can get a proper microphone stand or equivalent. Overall, it's a good starter kit for starting out and gradually upgrading your equipment.

This thing is so far the best investment I’ve made for my career and I highly recommend it. If you are in artis and specifically if you’re a producer. The brand is great I have it for almost a year never had any problem with it.
