The FortiGate 70G is a fanless desktop next-generation firewall built for midsize offices and busy branch locations. It is powered by the Fortinet SP5 security processor and delivers 10 Gbps firewall, 2.5 Gbps IPS, 1.5 Gbps NGFW and 1.3 Gbps threat protection throughput, with IPsec VPN up to 7.1 Gbps. Connectivity includes 10x GE RJ45 ports (2x WAN, 6x LAN, 2x FortiLink) plus 1x USB. Secure SD-WAN and a wireless and switch controller are built into FortiOS at no extra cost, letting the unit manage up to 96 FortiAP access points and 24 FortiSwitch switches from one console. This bundle includes the FortiGate 70G appliance plus 3-year FortiGuard Enterprise Protection, which covers everything in Unified Threat Protection (IPS, antivirus, cloud sandboxing, application control, inline CASB, URL, DNS and video filtering, anti-botnet) plus data loss prevention (DLP), attack surface security rating, AI-based inline malware prevention, and IoT device detection and vulnerability correlation.
