The FortiGate 80F is a fanless desktop next-generation firewall built for midsize offices and branch locations with fiber WAN links. It is powered by the Fortinet's purpose-built Secure SD-WAN ASIC and delivers 10 Gbps firewall, 1.4 Gbps IPS, 1 Gbps NGFW and 900 Mbps threat protection throughput, with IPsec VPN up to 6.5 Gbps. Connectivity includes 10x GE RJ45 ports (2x RJ45/SFP shared-media WAN, 6x LAN, 2x FortiLink) plus 2x GE SFP and 1x USB 3.0. Secure SD-WAN and a wireless and switch controller are built into FortiOS at no extra cost, letting the unit manage up to 96 FortiAP access points and 24 FortiSwitch switches from one console. This bundle includes the FortiGate 80F appliance plus 1-year FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection (UTP), which covers IPS, antivirus, FortiSandbox cloud sandboxing, application control, inline CASB, URL, DNS and video filtering, and anti-botnet and C2 protection. FortiCare Premium adds 24x7 phone and web support with 1-hour response on critical issues, firmware updates, and next-business-day advance hardware replacement for the full term.
