The FortiGate 90G is a compact desktop next-generation firewall built for midsize offices and branches with multi-gigabit WAN links. It is powered by the Fortinet SP5 security processor and delivers 28 Gbps firewall, 4.5 Gbps IPS, 2.5 Gbps NGFW and 2.2 Gbps threat protection throughput, with IPsec VPN up to 25 Gbps. Connectivity includes 2x 10GE RJ45/SFP+ shared-media WAN ports and 8x GE RJ45 LAN ports plus 1x USB. Secure SD-WAN and a wireless and switch controller are built into FortiOS at no extra cost, letting the unit manage up to 96 FortiAP access points and 24 FortiSwitch switches from one console. This bundle includes the FortiGate 90G appliance plus 1-year FortiGuard Enterprise Protection, which covers everything in Unified Threat Protection (IPS, antivirus, cloud sandboxing, application control, inline CASB, URL, DNS and video filtering, anti-botnet) plus data loss prevention (DLP), attack surface security rating, AI-based inline malware prevention, and IoT device detection and vulnerability correlation. FortiCare Premium adds 24x7 phone and web support with 1-hour response on critical issues, firmware updates, and next-business-day advance hardware replacement for the full term.
