When the units arrived the packaging didn’t appear to be damaged...but the units inside were dented, bent and scratched. We installed them to see if they worked...and they do. However they are loud, air flow is really weak and it struggles to cool a 10x12 room...not great for 8000btu. I paid far less for a 5000btu at Walmart and it had no problems cooling a larger are. I believe I would have gotten better quality at Walmart for much less. Definitely disappointed!

I was replacing my 15 year old Whirlpool casement a/c, which was an excellent unit - the new unit is nice and quiet, and a bit more efficient - quiet, and one feature I love is that you can increase the temp all the way to 90 degree's, and set to energy saver so the fan only runs every few minutes to check the temperature. This is useful for when I need to travel, yet keep the condo cool enough to my battery on my battery back-up doesn't swell and destroy my back up power supply. I do wish the unit was made in America, I try hard to buy American made products.

I had my A/C shipped to my local store for pick up. They told me when I bought it it would be 7 to 10 days but they notified me 1 day latter that it was already there. Wow, that was fast. I installed it with a friend in about 1 hour. There was some damage to a plastic frame in shipping but as it turned out I didn't need that frame anyway. The A/C works flawlessly and I really like being able to program it to turn on in the afternoon while I am at work so I can come home to a cool house and not have to leave it running all day. That saves a lot on the electric bill. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend this A/C.

It's been tough finding a unit that's right for my window. This product also has a more modern style than the other wider units. The size is great for my bedroom. No more sleepless nights!

good value, nice and cold and not too loud. nothing fancy but the program options are good. Only hard thing was instalation and had to put "jimmy rig" the unit to help keep vibration noise down.

I purchased the air conditioner to replace an older one, it is quiet and cools my room very well I any very satisfied with my purchase.

Not hard to install although instructions for casement window vs sliding windows needs work.

Specific window requires specific air conditioning that the only reason I bought this one .. totally worth it long lasting

Kind of bulky and heavy, not super energy efficient but does a decent job cooling a small room. Wish there were more options in the size category but until that happens, this seems to be the best / only choice....

I live in a 70's house. Casement windows make it difficult to get an ac. This unit does a great job and fits my window perfectly.

Just fits in window. Happy that I bought smaller size to fit in window.

When I received this unit the casing was dented and looked like it had been dropped and kicked. The box was intact so it had to have happened when it was packaged. The coils were also smashed in places. Sad looking unit. I have photos of the box before and after it was removed and this is the second time I have reviewed this item.please make this right.
