After going through FOUR Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers (stick drift, button failures, you name it), I was hesitant to try another competitive controller at the same price point so I looked for something cheaper. The GameSir G7 HE has been a game-changer and honestly should have made the switch sooner. What I Love: Outstanding Value - At this price point, you're getting premium features that rival controllers costing twice as much. The hall effect sticks alone make this worth every penny. Hall Effect Sticks = No More Drift - This is the big one. After dealing with stick drift on multiple Elite controllers, having hall effect sticks that will theoretically never drift is incredible peace of mind. The precision and responsiveness feel just as good as my Elite controllers did when they were new. Surprisingly Lightweight - Coming from the hefty Elite Series 2, this controller feels refreshingly light without feeling cheap. Perfect for those long gaming sessions where hand fatigue becomes an issue. Software is Actually Good - The GameSir software is intuitive and packed with customization options. Setting up profiles for competitive gaming is straightforward, and the software doesn't feel bloated like some manufacturer apps do. Minor Gripes: The ergonomics aren't perfect - specifically the menu and select buttons are positioned too high, making them slightly awkward to reach during gameplay. Additionally, the controller sits differently in your palms compared to the standard Series X controller, which honestly feels more natural in my hands. The palm grip just isn't quite as comfortable for extended sessions. Neither issue is a dealbreaker, but you'll notice the differences coming from other controllers. Bottom Line: If you're tired of paying premium prices for controllers that break after a year, the GameSir G7 HE is your answer. The hall effect sticks, excellent value, and solid build quality make this an easy recommendation. Sure, the button placement isn't perfect, but when you're saving money AND getting better reliability, it's a trade-off worth making. Would I buy again? Absolutely. Would I recommend to a friend? Already have to three people.

An excellent product so far. Mind you it's only been about a month but the quality has been noticeably better than most other controllers I've had. Highly recommend any controller with hall effect joysticks

This is by far the best controller I've used, only issue i have with it is no physical button stops
