I was very impressed with the ease of installation for the Garmin 66W Dashcam. The picture quality is excellent and the user interfaces, both on the Dashcam and the app, are very intuitive. The video is true 180-degree left to right and vertical video is sufficient to catch traffic lights, etc until almost under the light. Note that a memory card does NOT come with the Dashcam and must be purchased separately for the Dashcam to work. I got the largest that would fit, 512GB. I am happy with the ease of viewing videos via the Dashcam or the app. File transfer via the app to my iPhone was very lengthy. I won’t say it was slow due to file size; it just took a long time. I have not removed the memory card for file transfer on my desktop but would be a computer limitation anyway — not related to the Dashcam. My installation is very clean in my 2016 F-150. An adapter cable for the rear view mirror added a USB connection usable for the Dashcam. Works great, automatic power-on with ignition, and no wires in the way or routed to power outlet. Overall, I am very happy with the Garmin 66W Dashcam and would recommend it to anybody.

Awesome dash cam, easy to setup with app or without the garmin app. Quality is good to be a back dash cam. I currently have this a front dash cam with warning sounds off because it can't tell the difference from painted street lines to covered street lines/cracks. That's probably the only downside.

Easy to install and operate. Nice clear picture with an amazing wide view. Links easily with phone. Have the volume muted as the lane divergence warning was too sensitive. I chose to hide the unit from the driver's direct view, thinking the screen was always on and would be a distraction, but it goes off after a few seconds, so no need to do this!

exactly what I was looking for especially with a WIDE view! be sure to set camera video quality to 1440 as it defaults to 1080. when parked remove camera or keep out of direct sunlight! otherwise the camera is exactly what I was looking for. HIGHLY recommended

The camera was very easy to set up and quick to install. The accompanying mobile app is also easy to use. The video quality is excellent, you can choose to record sound or not and display mph. The camera powers on and begins recording automatically when you power on your car as long as you leave it plugged in. Overall very pleased.

I got this as a replacement for my dash cam 55. Quality of the cam and the wide view is very nice. The onboard options are even better, you can update the firmware from your phone without connecting to the computer, the live view from phone is a nice feature. Option for a bigger memory card for more recording is a plus. The new feature to allow you to link u multiple dash cam so they can synchronize record with picture in picture is pretty cool.

Great picture quality and super wide point of view. If recording 4K get a fast high capacity microSD card (camera does not come with one). Optional parking mode cable is a must, get it professionally installed by Best Buy, fantastic service!

I have used several dash cams over the years. Rexing's failed within a year in the AZ heat as did a couple of other brands. Garmin has been the best as of this writing. Very easy to install and use.

Best dash cam I've ever used! I used a 128 gb sd card and is able to capture all of what i need it for. This one has a very wide angle lens and can also take voice command prompts to capture images and start time lapses. This also has a GPS to show the coordinates of where the recordings take place and also records speeds. Also has lane detection, traffic camera detection, collision warning, and traffic moving detection. Overall i love this dash cam compared to some of the other ones i've used

I had a hit and run while my car was parked at the air port. Now I can see who hit me.

I was able to simply plug it in, hang it on the window, and quickly download video and pictures as needed from my dash cam.

Great dash cam. Small in size. Name brand recognition Should include parking hardwire cable. Cost an extra 30 bucks directly from Garmin plus shipping. Not available at store

Super easy to setup, plug in and go. Connects quickly to the app. Video quality is very good. Crash avoidance feature works very well. Would like to add a rear camera if that is possible?

A dashcam was the hardest thing to research. I went back and forth Amazon back to BB back to Amazon. I finally decided on the Garmin 66W for my 16 year old's car. It works great. Just get the correct SD card card and go big. It is always recording and it will save videos to separate folders when something is detected or is say Hey Garmin record video. I am going to buy two more of these.
