Easy to use, the battery life is great, can use music inside the device through music streaming app, and isn’t necessary to use a phone to practice my activities

I haven't had a Garmin for years and years but I caved and got one. I am impressed how well it works. All the features are amazing and the gps is accurate! Im a newish athlete and I love this watch.

Could not have been happier with my Garmin watch . I am a runner and I needed a watch with long battery life , GPS distance tracking and music to keep me company , without having to carry my phone on the runs . This watch meets all those criteria . It gives statistics of heart rate and zone together with speed per mile in the Connect App . It also tracks your sleep pattern which I find useful to monitor. Garmin is the gold standard when I comes to fitness watches . I had another forerunner before this and the only reason I upgraded was to get the music feature . Highly recommended over any other smart watch for its long battery life and accuracy

Works awesome, and it works great with my Stryd footpod. Took some effort to figure out how to get my favorite Spotify playlist on it (I had to plug the watch in to my computer and download some Garmin software to Windows first). You have to have Spotify Premium for it to work, be warned. But super glad I bought the music one because now I can connect direct to my earbuds from the watch and play music while running without needing to even bring my phone with me at all. Kind of thought I hated it the first few days because I was frustrated with setup and settings, but quickly came to realize it was awesome within a few days. Now a few months later I absolutely love it. Just took some figuring out how all the settings work. You can get audio running prompts directly through the earbuds too that you setup I.e. heart rate and pace every minute or however often you want etc. Excellent purchase. Oh yeah, surprisingly comfortable and light. I sometimes fall asleep with it on, something I don't recall ever doing with my old cheap one. Sometimes I think for a second I forgot it somewhere and then realized it's on my wrist. Heart rate monitor seems very accurate and reliable, which is very important to me as I typically run by heart rate for longer slower steady state and then I often run by power (Stryd) for intervals or more intense short runs. ConnectIQ Stryd app and footpod works great with this model even though for some reason it's not specifically listed on the Stryd website as compatible last I checked it. Battery lift seems great, and it charges up pretty darn fast. Again, excellent purchase.

I wear Garmin it's the best in my opinion. This is the best value for money has all the functions and music.

A long time Garmin user, I'm excited for my first touch screen and great display. I have not been disappointed with the FR 165. There are much more expensive options out there, but this one does everything I need as a runner.

My wife has used her Apple Watch for a while, once she started running again. She wanted to try something else and we landed on this. For the few months she has used it, she absolutely loves it.

My wife wanted a watch to better track her running as she's getting into the half marathon training zone. This watch is perfect for that! Takes some time to learn your movements but once it gets locked it's wonderful.

Got this watch for my 14 yr old son who is a runner. He loves the watch and all the data and ability to customize the face. He much prefers this watch to his old Apple Watch.

It's fit to my needs. I don't do thriatlon, just running. The battery is awesome and the screen colors are great.

I purchased this for my 15 year old son and so far he loves it. Sounds like it has a lot of functions to it. I might have to look into one for myself.
