The unit was installed and while it would go up and down on command it did not provide any suction. That is the air fan was not working. Had GE repair out twice to get it fixed - once for diagnosis and once to replace the motor. The repair guy said he had never seen a motor failure before.

looks and appearance is great, a nice complement to the new cooktop. However, after it was installed and working properly, I was given an issue that I did not expect - Remote fan control. Poorly designed unit subject to rapid wear and tear. Why didn't GE people incorporate the remote controls in the cooktop itself, why is this important gizmo separated from the rest of the knobs sitting on top? Now I have find a secure place for this. NOT HAPPY at all.

It runs smoothly and very quietly.Its new operating panel is very modern and it is simple operate. We like this product compared to our old one.

The downdraft looks good and works as expected so far.

Downdraft wobbles when in operation. Top panel is curved upward on one side and does not lie flat on counter. After repeated calls to GE and sales person at Pacific Sales I was finally told that a new unit would be ordered for me. Nothing has happened and no one will take or return my calls. I’ve already paid for this faulty unit and am extremely frustrated and very disappointed. I am still hopeful of getting satisfaction.

I love the way it looks. Brightens up the kitchen and function very well.

This product was exactly as described and met our needs

I needed to find a replacement to the one that had broke. Since it was an older fan this universal one replaced it perfectly. Looks good and is smooth going up and down, also very quite. Enjoy having my fan when cooking.

I updated my kitchen. Choose Monogram appliances to replace Monogram because GE guarantees fit. Did not want to worry about re-cutting granite.

Purchased as part of an appliance package for a house I was flipping. Install was easy and thus far has been working perfectly and new owners are completely satisfied.

This is a nice unit that looks awesome. Quiet automatic operation. Sleek look.

First one I purchased was defective, it didn’t go up all the way. New/second one seems to be fine.

This works great if you’re kitchen doesn’t have ventilation in the ceiling.

The downdraft works wonderfully. However the back trim piece is flimsy and is bowed. Pacific Sales/Best Buy installed a new one but the same issue. Monogram came out and the fix is tape and will be corrected thank you Pacific Sales.

Was installed by geek squad but unit was not working properly. They replace with new one after a week later! Not reliable!

Such a cool addition to our kitchen remodel. Works excellent and quiet fans. Love this appliance
