Beautiful graphics and sounds! Even though I never played any of the Gears of War franchise games, playing this game made me want to play the others! Very unique missions as well as story line! Would definitely recommend anyone to get this game for their collection!

I had never played the original version on 360 before, so I was interested as a PlayStation fan. I can see why it’s an Xbox classic fun gameplay. Just didn’t really connect with the story as much.

Brings me back so many memories . Love it . Could be a little faster but the bulky soldiers makes the diference .

Great remake to a great game. The graphics and dualsense controls are near perfect. My only criticism is that the split screen isn't full screen but hopefully they fix that with an update.

Plays this classic campaign on the disc without internet. Love the haptic feed back triggers on the duel sense

Fun game remake! Gears for ps5. You can't do bettere than that!

I played the original back when it first came out on the Xbox 360 and enjoyed it a lot back then, and I can honestly say I enjoyed it again and it brought back a lot of nostalgia. The graphics are much better while not up to par with things recently released the gameplay more than makes up for that. The combat is still spot on and feels great. Takes a little bit of getting use to especially if you’re use to playing faster movement titles. I also chose to reconfigure the button layout to better suit my play style but after I did it was like butter, soooo smooth. Especially since I was playing on my PlayStation 5 pro at 120fts on my Samsung s90d which really made all the difference in smoother frame rates. I didn’t get much into the multiplayer but what I did was excellent. I completed the campaign multiple times and the voice acting and story were still great!! I’d give it a 8.5 out of 10 in today’s market.

Enjoying this game. I remember 1st experiencing the gears of war on my Xbox 360. I briefly played the original, and it’s very fun and feels more like a current game, with how everything looks. As a casual gamer, I think the campaign is great and still has a nostalgia feel, as someone who once got allot of fun back with Nintendo game cube and later on Xbox 360, I appreciate how this plays, as a fun retro 3rd person shooter. Would totally recommend it, for anyone who likes sci-fi third person shooters!

It’s great to play this game all over again, but this time on the PlayStation, which was unthinkable. The graphics and gameplay are top notch, but there are definitely some glitches. Just to name a few the camera jumps a lot more when running, when firing the weapons target moves more, now that could’ve been like the original, but it’s been a long time since I last played…. When using chainsaw the animation fits for the tall enemies, with the smaller ones I was at least a few inches away and the animation was cutting the big guys, so it’s odd to see him cutting them down.. It’s a great game overall and I still love the series and hope they bring the rest of them over.

I haven't gone through the entire game yet but this looks to be just like the original. I had the original on XBOX 360 and played it quite a bit. It's a fun game but not a game for children by any means. I was happy that I was able to get it for PS5 now as I no longer own any XBOX consoles. It is also cool that you can sign into the XBOX account from the PS5 and it will allow gameplay with other users from multiple platforms. Although I usually just do solo campaigns, this is a fun option to be able to use. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who had played it in past and also to newer players who like this type of game.

The environments are stunning for a remaster from a game that came out in 2006. Also, my first time playing and the story and gameplay is awesome asl. I can see why the gears franchise is a fan favorite.

This game holds many memories and now i can play it on ps5. Updated graphics, and everything you'd expect from the game but many tweaks. Its not a true re release of the game i remember but very close. This is perfect for anyone who played the original when released.

It’s great to see a classic comeback better and badder with upgraded textures and smooth gameplay at 60FPS. I hope the other games get ported over. Must own game!!!!

PEAK game they had it in awesome condition worth it

This game is absolutely phenomenal. I love EVERYTHING about the campaign.. Now i don't do online multiplayer stuff thats not my thing. But I have played the original GOW in 2006 and I can saw the 2025 is wonderful. I love the more immersive modern-day Graphics an Proformance.. If your crying about it not being dark an gritty like the original cause of the hardware an technology limitations of the time and the different TVs an resolutions of the time. Not an "Artistic style" then stick to the 2006 version.. But I can't stress enough how Awesome this game is.. JUST DO IT...
