Arrived in a very flimsy box that had burst open. Thankfully nothing has fallen out, but it easily could have. The console functioned fine but the controller was defective and I had to return it. Clearly little care is put in, shame because it's a good price.

For the price, I couldn't find anything wrong with this. My biggest problem is the fact that it wouldnt let me buy 2 lol. And i have yet to find another deal as good as this one.

There is no controller in the box and the store/outlet will not honor the website listing. Customer service will make you run in loops and the store says CS does not know what they are talking about!

Mine arrived this afternoon, shipped from Washington to SoCal Shipping box was fine, console was securely bubble-wrapped (the FedEx box made it clear that the original box wasn't going to be in there). Included: PS5 Controller Authentic Power Cable Authentic Charging Cable Aftermarket HDMI Stand (with the screw) All documentation Cosmetically, the console looks almost brand-new - there was a single fingerprint near the power button that wiped off immediately. Zero scratches near any USB (front or back), none near the HDMI, etc. I popped off the top to see if the warranty sticker was there and it was, so I'm guessing this wasn't ever opened (so "refurbished" I guess means "open-box like-new"). Same with the controller - other than one really minor scuff on the back (looks like from just sitting the controller on something), it looks and functions like new; no drift, buttons all work, etc. Powered up fine, had actually been reset so went through the setup process and again, no issues. Logged in and immediately needed to do an update (firmware was from August '24), but while doing the setup I installed Horizon Adventures, which was read and installed fine. We've been playing for ~an hour now and there hasn't been anything to indicate problems w/ overheating, disc-drive errors, etc. All in - I bought this thinking almost 100% I'd be sent garbage and have to return it, but I'm pleasantly surprised and definitely keeping.

Console was missing screw cap for base. Though its not the biggest deal the cap prevents potential dust build up. Also there was a broken piece of plastic at the bottom of the box which clearly came from the housing. Called customer service and they gave me the runaround. Asked to speak to a supervisor and lied they lied about all supervisors being in a meeting. Best Buy has terrible customer service.

The console came with a defective controller. The console was in decent shape and condition.

Received mine with no issues - packaging could have been better but no damage.

Do not trust Geek Squad refurbished at all. There are a lot of dust and scratches on the PS5. Missing controller. I think the condition sould be listed as: used-fair. Spent so much time to return in the store, the advisor ask Geek Squad guy test the PS5. And then discussed with several guys. Then came up with more request need to check the SN for the device and order details. However, there is no SN in the order.

I purchased a refurbished PS five expecting the bare minimum, but actually was surprised on how clean and pristine condition the PlayStation came and I’ve been enjoying it for the last few weeks five stars

Was a great deal for a PS5 with a disc drive. The person I got it for loved the savings! Worked as new.

Amazing product nothing wrong with exactly what i wanted

It says on the description that there’s one controller included. Just received my package yesterday and didn’t see any controller in the box. I called and chatted customer service which both informed me to get the controller from one of their local stores.

Shipped without a controller and customer service told me to go to best buy, (nearest one is an hour and a half away) and talk to them. Never buying best buy refurbished again.
