tldr: good chance you'll receive something that's horrible condition and need to return or exchange it, which may or may not be a headache and a time suck. Ordered online when on sale for $259.99. The package I received (pictured) did not include the original box, which fine, whatever, but there was one piece of bubble wrap in the entire box that was doing very little. Everything was just in a giant ziplock bag, and the Switch itself was just thrown in the middle of it with zero protection. Honestly surprised nothing was broken. Beyond that, the entire system was horribly dirty. Dust all over. Dirt still in the seams. Smelled like smoke. Some slight yellow discoloring, probably from the smoke. No way this could have been "refurbished". It was so disgustingly gross, to be honest. Having seen more reviews of various "refurbished" consoles, this definitely doesn't seem like a one-off. Now comes the fun part. I would have just straight returned it and ordered a new one, but I used some promotional rewards certificates that covered more than half of the cost that would have expired by that point, meaning I would not get them back. After initially chatting with online customer service who said they could do an exchange via mail, my replacement order got canceled because when they picked one to fill the order, it was damaged. Then they claimed they actually could not do anything via mail anyway and I had to take it to a store to exchange. Spent 4 hours dealing with customer service to that point, thanks to disconnects, transfers, and having to repeat myself from the start each time. The store employees were far more helpful. They were also appalled by what I was sent. They took that one, ordered me a replacement as an exchange, and this time I had it sent to store pickup instead so that I could open it in front of someone in case something similar happened again. Second time around I received it in the original box. Much better condition. Was still dusty inside the dock's back cover, so who knows what they really do to "refurbish" these if they're not even clean. But it has been working fine for a couple of months. No stick drift on the joy-cons. Battery life seems normal. If you're not opposed to having to spend the time to potentially return one or more consoles to get one in a condition that meets what one would expect for a "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" console, then it's decent value depending on the sale. In my situation, I ended up wasting like 6 hours on getting it exchanged.

Super happy with the OLED Switch! Works great and didn't have any trouble setting it up to my TV either. Kind of laggy sometimes, not sure if it's normal or because it was pre-owned, but it's not much of an issue.
I’ve had an original Switch but gave it to my godson and after a while I missed the opportunity to play Mario, Zelda, etc that you can’t play anywhere else. So, I decided to get the OLED which is amazing! I love the screen, it really adds to the gameplay

Works as it should and seems to hold a good charge when off the dock.

The Switch works perfectly well and was a good value compared to buying one new. The joy-cons function like new. Mine came with the original packaging and instructions. There is like one small scratch on the screen, but that is acceptable to me for a pre-owned device.

Honestly, its a switch. The OLED screen is nice. I don't really need to convince you whether you'd like a switch. But a refurbished item from best buy works excellently. If you have doubts about that, hopefully this helps. There are no issues with the switch. It works perfectly.

I have to admit that I'm pretty skeptical of refurbished items but GeekSquad proved me wrong with this one! other than the original box being scuffed. the console was clean, scratchless, and could have fooled me as being brand new!

I am enjoying this Nintendo Switch I like the fact that I can hook it to the T.V and remove the controllers. Its easy to play and small enough to fit into my purse to take to work with me.

Has been a great purchase, finally have enough joycons for all my family to play and can start working on getting pro controllers for everyone.
