My current thermostat utilizes the W,W2, Y, G, R, and a jumper from R to Rc. Will the Google Nest Learning Smart Wifi Thermostat be compatible with my current set-up?

I have gas heat and electric AC they both run off the same thermostat now will it still work? Also i like to keep my house at 70 degrees all year round,will it switch between heat or AC even when i am not home depending on the temperature of the outside?

how long do these normally last because i have had a technician out and and replaced it 3 times now with different companies and after talking to you guys these things aren't cheap so I'm asking because I don't want to make this a money pit issue?

Can this thermostat be used with a boiler system?
Answered by DaveYes however if you only have a two wire system you will need to add a transformer to keep the internal battery charged
