I am thinking of getting the Nest - Thermostat E When I am away from home in the summer, I do not want to turn the AC off but want it to keep the temp at 78 degrees to keep humidity down and wood floors from swelling. Can I do that - ie hold at 78?
Answered by AnonymousYes you can just like the original nest there is not an actual hold function but you can set up schedules.
Will this tell you the current temperature in the home as well as the temperature that it's set to? We would like to use it to monitor if our heat is working correctly in the winter when we are not there.

Do you have to have a hub or anything else to run this Nest wth WiFi? Thanks, Brad
Answered by HarryThere is no hub required for this unit to fully function. It can be added to Google Home/Amazon Alexa if you wish to use voice commands.
