Is it 110/240v or just 110v? Thanks!
Google Wifi comes with a 15 Watts adapter with an auto-volt Input voltage of 100V - 240V.
I currently have a 3 pack installed in our house. Can I add additional devices to my current system?
Definitely! You can expand your Google Wifi mesh system by adding more Google Wifi or Nest Wifi devices. Ideally, we recommend a maximum of five Wifi points in a single mesh set up. You can check this support article help you with an estimate of how many Google Nest or Google Wifi points you need: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7182840
Will this work with a combo modem/router or will I need to purchase a new modem? What modem would you suggest to pair with this system?
This works with my existing Spectrum modem.
Can you hook one up to your current router via ethernet and then wirelessly connect the other two? Or do all of them have to be connected via ethernet?
You only need one to be hard wired to the router. The rest just need electric power.
What kind of speeds are you seeing compared to your incoming ethernet speed? I have 400Mbps coming in and want to know what kind of performance people are seeing, compared to their incoming speed, close to the main hub and on average in their home.
I'm not sure the question is really answerable because there are way too many variables, including the quality of the WiFi receiver in the testing device and differences in the testing procedure between apps. But, just to give you an example from my house, I am sitting upstairs from the hub about 10 feet from a mesh point, that on Google's test gives 950 down and 50 up, and using my Google Pixel 4a 5G cellphone on my Wifi network and the Speedtest (which selects a different node for testing) I get 65.4 down and 47.5 up.
