Questions & Answers
Hello. I want to build a PC and have the parts. Does GeekSquad build the PC from scratch?
Answered by GeekSquadSupportHi there! Thanks for reaching out about this. We should be able to build your PC from the components. To get started, I'd recommend connecting with your local Best Buy's Geek Squad either in person or over the phone, to make sure we have everything we need and no incompatibilities. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
I would like RAM installed on my laptop. It currently has 4 gb and I would like 2 sticks of 8 gb, totaling 16 gb installed on my HP laptop. Will geek squad be able to do that? And if so, then what is the cost of installation. I know I can buy the RAM.
Answered by GeekSquadSupportHi there. Thanks for reaching out about this! This sounds like a great upgrade. We can definitely do this. The service should just be a normal hardware installation which would be $39.99. We'd install the RAM and then test that everything checks out. Once you have the RAM, you can either contact your local Best Buy store or visit www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a free consultation at your local Best Buy to get started.
