Hearing help without the clinic, the wait, or the price tag. Elevate is Harmonix's over-the-counter hearing aid — self-fitting, so adults with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss can set it up at home in minutes. It looks like a pair of premium earbuds and it tunes itself to you. A guided hearing check in the free Harmonix OTC app personalises both ears, and you can fine-tune any time. Rechargeable, with a portable charging case that adds about three more charges. Four hearing programs and six volume levels cover quiet rooms, restaurants and everything between. Bluetooth 5.0 streams music and calls. Physical buttons instead of fiddly touch controls. Auto on/off in-ear detection and a ten-second start-up delay to prevent feedback. IP64 dust and water resistance. For adults 18 and older with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss — not for children, severe or profound hearing loss, or sudden hearing loss. A hearing aid cannot restore normal hearing. See a doctor if you have ear pain, drainage, dizziness, or a sudden change in hearing. What to expect in the first two weeks. Hearing aids are not like glasses — sound does not snap into focus the moment you put them in. Your brain has adapted to reduced hearing over years, and it needs time to re-learn the sounds it has been missing. At first your own voice may sound loud or unfamiliar, and everyday noises — running water, paper, footsteps, your own chewing — can seem sharp or intrusive. This is normal and it settles. Wear Elevate every day from the first day, starting with a few hours somewhere quiet and building up as it becomes comfortable, rather than saving it for difficult situations. If something is too loud, lower the volume or change program instead of taking them out. Before deciding they are not working, try a different ear tip size and re-run the hearing check in the app — fit and fine-tuning are the two things most worth adjusting.
A guided hearing check in the free Harmonix OTC app measures each ear and personalises the sound in minutes — no clinic visit, no appointment, no audiologist fitting fee. Re-run the check or fine-tune the settings yourself any time your hearing or your surroundings change.
About 12 hours of use per charge with Bluetooth off, and the charging case holds roughly three more full charges. The earphones recharge in about two hours and the case in about three, over USB-C. No disposable button cells to buy, fumble with or replace.
Four preset hearing programs and six volume steps let you move between a quiet living room, a busy restaurant and the outdoors without reaching for your phone. Physical buttons on each earphone — simple and reliable, with no touch gestures to mis-trigger.
Hearing aids take getting used to. Your own voice and everyday sounds may seem loud or sharp at first — that is normal and it settles. Wear Elevate daily from day one, starting somewhere quiet and building up, rather than saving it for hard situations. If something is too loud, lower the volume or change program instead of taking them out. Before deciding it is not working, try another ear tip size and re-run the hearing check.
Bluetooth 5.0 streams music, video and phone calls straight to both ears, so the same device that helps you hear the room also handles your phone. Auto on/off in-ear detection starts it when you put it in, and a ten-second start-up delay prevents feedback squeal.
