I bought it for college and it works great! I use it almost daily and never face any problems with lagging. I often use streaming services on it as well and works just great! Definitely recommend for college students( don't think it is suitable for design students though as editing would require a higher ram and a better cpu)

I got this on sale and ended up returning it after a week. It’s good for basic things like web surfing and using the Google apps, but it takes some getting used to. There’s no “delete” key and in the place of the “caps lock” key is the “google search” key. I couldn’t get used to that so I found that to be annoying. It also turns on whenever you open it up which I found annoying. I didn’t know this at the time either, but apparently it’s a feature of the chromebook that you can’t adjust. The screen resolution is also really bad on this. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I would switch to looking at my iphone (8) for a second and then turn back to the screen. After that it was super obvious and I had a hard time using it as it started to hurt my eyes a little from having to squint. On the plus side, it is affordable and gets basic things done. It’s not flashy or sleek in it’s design but if you can get it on sale I’d say it’s worth it. Just don’t expect a whole lot.

Very nice computer all around it got a 4 review because you need a Bluetooth mouse nearly impossible to use with out one but with the mouse the problem is pretty much fixed

I purchased the HP Chromebook for my spouse. He loves it! It is much faster than his previous laptop. He is able to do everything he wants to do! It is easy to use, lightweight, keeps a charge for hours, and can go anywhere.

I love my new machine. It is just the right size for the things I need to do. Most of what I do is letter writing, email, online banking. The keys are larger and easier to read, with my big fingers, I had trouble hitting several keys at once.

It’s Chromebook, and it works as a Chromebook should be expected. My children use it for schoolwork, internet browsing and research, and have a few light-weight games. It’s perfect for our purpose.

I wanted to give a 4.5. Chromebook are a dime a dozen. I have had chrome books way cheaper that did the same exact thing this one does. It’s for online school. It’s a cheaper way to somewhat own a smart device, and not a laptop. However there are laptops for this price and if you want more for your money I highly recommend buying a laptop instead. Also it’s hard to defend the price tag for a chromebook. This one is a little larger then others. The quality is 1080p, Even with its memory you barely notice how fast it is, I settled for this one because my son needed a larger screen. After this price it gets ridiculous and even the rep said don’t spend no $600 plus on a chromebook. They are not laptops and more for multimedia entertainment. The only reason I paid this amount which I never do for a chromebook is because it’s for my son. He even said get the cheaper one. However given the size and ai was feeling generous I got this one.

Overall this laptop was a good purchase. It does everything I need, and it has helped me get through college. I have not had any issues, the only con that I personally noticed was that it is not touch screen which I should have verified.

Honestly I gave this a three star do to three things 1. Because of how slow it runs when you choose to ignore the update just for a hour and you have to keep up with the updates that come out every 3 weeks, 2. How fast the Laptop dies when the brightness is turned up, and 3. The mouse pad malfunctions when you hold it a certain so the best way to hold the laptop so that it doesn’t happen is your hand under the bottom of the laptop and place it on a flat surface other than that is a great laptop
