I chose to review this cartridge because almost everything is printed with black in it. The cartridge costs about $50-$60, but laser cartridges are more efficient than ink, they print over 1500 sheets each, and are less likely to smudge. They last longer, and do not dry out or leak if you are not printing every day. Love my new laser printer!

The 201A toner for my HP Laser printer has always been a reliable cartridge. As a former IT Support Technician, there's a good reason to always obtain OEM. While this becomes more of a business reason ("smart toner cartridge via chip") I've never had an OEM HP laser cartridge fail as a new-in-box cartridge. I do not trust overseas refills and have seen reviews where color is off. I'd rather pay more for quality and reliability.

Very good quality toner at what I suppose is a reasonable price. No chipping or fading from any of the documents that I've printed. And the older printer I have doesn't completely disable itself when you run low on ink, which beats the pants off of HP's subscription model. Plus, they include a pre-printed label to send your old toner cartridge back for recycling. Yeah, I know the price of that is built into the cartridge (kind of like paying 5 cents for a soda bottle only to get it back when you turn it in), but it's still a feel-good move and I'm happy to send the old one back.

We never had a problem using genuine HP toner cartridges on our HP printer. They result in even print color on each page; & are easy to install. They are more expensive than generic brands but worth the cost to get the quality.

HP quality toner cartridge that is worth the extra money for me. No leaks or other issues. A must buy if you want to keep your HP printer working smoothly.

Very easy to install with absolutely no messy toner on hands or printer, started printing immediately...no running 2 or 3 sheets before documents began to print completely without missing letters etc. No need to run a test print. Works great!

Have tried other toners for my HP printer. Don't waste your time on them. The HP LaserJet just works better with the Original HP Toner.

I gave this a 4 star because of price. It's a good product as to be expected from a name brand company. It works as designed and is not leaking toner powder everywhere like I have ran into in the past. Just unfortunately the price is a little too high especially when you need to replace all four toners at once. At that point it would be cheaper to buy a new printer.

Easy installation. Deep, rich color. Little stickies to keep you from touching the wrong things and to prevent ink from leaking.

I had to get this for my laser printer. Was going to purchase it online but Best Buy has the best price and I can get it right away. Works great and makes my work look outstanding

It only took a minute to change the cartridge and the printer was ready for use. No smudges or streaks starting from the first page printed.

Never had any trouble with these cartridges. They are expensive.

The print quality using this cartridge is excellent, and it has an exceptionally long life for the use I make of it. Also, I don't have to worry about it degrading over time with sporadic use. I wouldn't trust my new printer with anything else.

Long lasting and I print a lot for my business. Looked online and price was cheaper. They will give you the price difference in the store when you tell them.

HP - 201A Standard Capacity Toner Cartridge - Black Provides great color, is easy to change out, and you can recycle at store.

Easy, mess free replacement, long lasting, solid color. Worth the extra money for HP brand! Others I have used don't last as long and make a mess when replacing.

Have purchased these before for my HP printers. Easily snaps into place and have never had any problems using HP replacement cartridges.

HP Toner cartridges are high quality products, but so expensive. Easy to install. We are averaging one of every color each year due to kids in college that need to print power point presentations for study guides almost daily.
