Ridiculous price for ink….but so wasteful to throw away a good printer when the ink runs out. Even worse HP inkjet printers will NOT run black only printing without a color cartridge. I never print in color, but still got gouged for this cartridge. Next time I go black and white laser…its just not worth it.

The ink is wildly overpriced and the printer uses it up constantly doing.... something? Won't print all black without replacing color cartridges?

The quality is OK. They still have ink and Denmark error, which is junk because you pay so much and you waste in because once in Marks era doesn’t work again.

Prices of printer ink are getting crazy. The stuff costs more than gas.

Ordered wrong cartridge for designated HP printer. :( Reordered 936 on 6/01. Thank you.

Too expensive for an ink cartridge, almost the same price of the printer!

HP has rigged their cartridges to dis-advantage the consumer. I got a set of cartridges included in the purchase. They won't work unless you have an active HP Ink refill plan.

Hi Arnold,
I am sorry about the misunderstanding. The cartridges that come with the printer and any other compatible cartridges will work without you being on any plan.
Perhaps the confusion was because while the starter cartridges provided with the printer might say Instant Ink, but you don't have to have an Instant Ink account to use them.

i suspect I will be replacing this cart prematurely. For example, if only cyan gets used up, I'm going to need to purchase a new tri color cart which is more expensive than a single color cart.

This stuff costs more than GOLD! I wish my family could get away from printing with how much this stuff costs

The ink has already run out, more or less within a couple days it was gone. Seemed as though they were never filled.

Hi,
I am sorry that this happened. If you think it wasn't properly filled and don't want to try taking back to a local Best Buy, you can try contacting them about a return by mail.
According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

Just what I needed although my printer was reading the cyan cartridge as damaged/missing. Had to buy a separate cyan to fix issue
